RealClearPolitics had access to a meeting in Dover, Delaware Wednesday held by Newt Gingrich. During the get-together with members of the Delaware Tea Party, Gingrich, a former Fox News analyst, lambasted the channel.
I think FOX has been for Romney all the way through, said Gingrich, adding, Callista and I both believe CNN is less biased than FOX this year. We are more likely to get neutral coverage out of CNN than we are of FOX, and were more likely to get distortion out of FOX. Thats just a fact.
Gingrich revealed hes been invited by CNN to one of their tables at an upcoming political correspondents dinner. The only press events I go to are interesting dinners when the wife insists on it, so were going to go to the White House Correspondents dinner because she wants to. And were actually going to go to CNNs table, not FOX.

Go Newt!

I felt the same way. Newt got the shaft.
Ditto!
GO NEWT!
Yes, they are better than CNN/et al, but that isn't saying much, now is it.
If it wasn’t for Andrea Tantaros on the 5, I would never watch FNC.
Rupert let it be known that he wanted Romney.
I think FOX has been for Romney all the way through,
I think he is right.
I got news for ya Newt, CNN’s ratings are lower than MSNBC’s, which is lower than FNC’s, they have been for a while. Good luck being seen over there.
This is nothing other than Newt auditioning for a windfall of a gig at CNN thats the kind of man he is. Not to mention, hes still bitter about the fact that we terminated his contributor contract.
I think it's safe to say Newt probably won't be a commentator on Fox News again anytime soon.
Originally I expected Newt to get a fair shake from Fox, owing to his earlier connections there as an analyst. But they treated him like crap. Santorum, too. And before that, Palin (always headlining negative stories/polls; ignoring positive speeches/postings/polls, etc).
FoxNews became Romney-cheerleading headquarters. And I’ve bid them adios as a viewer, after a rock-steady 15 years of watching. Been quite an ‘altering’ campaign season... given up on FoxNews, stopped going to Drudge, now ignore Ann Coulter, Glenn Beck, etc. Heck, I think Romney might even manage to kill off my 30-year-long status as a ‘news-junkie’ altogether. Not much point in even following things anymore.
We’re down the rabbit hole people. FR is considering the advantages of reelecting Obama while Newt Gingrich attacks Fox News and praises CNN. And by extension we are now supporting CNN.
Check your tin foil hats for radiation burns.
No. Because of Brit Hume.
But I agree that FNC is becoming RINO central. If Murdoch wants his network to stay on top he'd better do something about that.
Yes....
GO NEWT GO........
CNN doesn’t care who gets the nomination, so they will play sort of fair until the general, when they will destroy whoever it is, in favor of 0bama.
Yeah, FOX is pimping for Romney. It is obvious. I’m not a Newt fan, but he sucks less than the one the GOP Elitist Establishment wants.
The only thing I am unsure of is if FOX actually wants Romney, or if they want the weakest candidate to face 0bama.
Believe that FOX is at all conservative anymore at your peril.

Reality check. Fox gave Sarah Palin stupendous coverage via Greta, then hired Palin as a contributor. I believe Sarah used Fox to make her statements about keeping the primary contest going, in an effort to block Romney.
“.......might even manage to kill off my 30-year-long status as a news-junkie altogether. Not much point in even following things anymore.”
You are not alone. I have been going through withdrawals, but it’s getting easier and quite frankly, it’s kinda refreshing.
