Up to a dozen Secret Service agents in Colombia for President Barack Obama’s trip there have been relieved of their duties amid allegations of misconduct.
The Secret Service did not detail the accusations but said they did not affect security for the president, who landed in the country Friday for a weekend at the Summit of the Americas.
The Associated Press reported that the allegations involved prostitutes. The actions happened before the president’s arrival on Friday, the AP reported, citing unnamed sources.
“There have been allegations of misconduct made against Secret Service personnel in Cartagena, Colombia prior to the President’s trip. Because of this, those personnel are being relieved of their assignments, returned to their place of duty, and are being replaced by other Secret Service personnel,” the Secret Service said in the statement.
“The Secret Service takes all allegations of misconduct seriously. This entire matter has been turned over to our Office of Professional Responsibility, which serves as the agency’s internal affairs component,” the agency said. “These personnel changes will not affect the comprehensive security plan that has been prepared in advance of the President’s trip.”

Partly, but I’m thinking it’s also time to get them out because they have seen too much, or are at risk of seeing too much. This way their careers are flushed and (wonder of wonders) no one is going to place any credibility on what disgraced and bitter hound dog SS agents have to say about Herr Leader and Moochelle and their actions.

That’s what I was thinking. Seems all too convenient all of the sudden, especially for a highly disciplined force like the Secret Service.
These agents saw things that Obama and friends did and were up to and had to be neutralized.

This is the party that has condemned Christopher Colombus for enslaving the ancestors of the Colombians and forcing them into prostitution.
It was not only Secret Service, but also some Army Special Forces guys.
They didn't pay some of the hookers.
At the hotel, they had to sign the girls in, so all the guys, by name are linked to the hookers.

Why am I having trouble believing this?
Why would SS agents who are the creme de la creme risk everything for some prostitutes? One or two maybe in a compromising position, but 12?
It sounds like they needed to be rotated out fast and made examples of, or tarred and feathered, for some reason.
SS agents are far too professional and dedicated to risk their careers for something of little value.
I think they saw something or found out something they should not have and maybe were going to do a little whistleblowing, and we can’t have that now, can we?
Of course, just another American icon, the dedicated SS agent, willing to take a bullet for the Prez, is tarnished, thanks to the Usurper-in-Chief.
If I had to bet, I’d put it on that explanation
