I’ve found that firefighters tend to be much more outspoken than law enforcement, in general. When they’re dashing into a fire to save someone, they’re not wondering if the people inside are Republican or Democrat.

I hate to say it this way, and I hope I’m not flamed for saying it this way, but white people need to start sticking up for themselves and for those who express the thoughts and feelings akin to their own. Blacks are allowed to do it without any fear of reprisal, but whites have to parse their words. It’s disgusting.

We can do it here because of the anonymity of screen names. It's easy for us to say that Mohammad is a pedophile swine but try saying that when your name and address are readily available. It's similar to expressing one's opinion on racial matters.

I know of one F.R. member, who has his name and address and telephone number on his "about" page and he speaks his mind too - about the mooselimbs and other subjects.
