In one of the Foreign Office files, the future president’s father appears on a list of Kenyan students as ‘OBAMA, Barack H’ – they shared the same name.
At the age of 23, he enrolled at the University of Hawaii in Honolulu to study economics with classmates including Ann Dunham, a 17-year-old white American from Kansas. The couple had a short marriage that led to the birth in 1961 of the future president, Barack Obama II.
Mr Obama Snr was among 100 or so Kenyan students brought to America by the African American Students Foundation.
U.S. and British officials were deeply suspicious of this outfit, observing that the AASF – though backed by singer Harry Belafonte and actor Sidney Poitier – had links to a Kenyan nationalist leader.
‘The motives behind this enterprise, therefore, seem more political than educational,’ warned a letter from the British Embassy in Washington.
It added: ‘The arrival here of these students, many of them of indifferent academic calibre and ill-prepared for the venture, is likely to give rise to difficult problems.’
Seems to me that he appreciated “white” for at least three minutes or so...

It is interesting to note how detached from other people, even his own nearest and dearest, Hissein appears in all his personal relationships. Even amongst his immediate family-he says and does the things that anyone else (normal) would do, but at all times he still seems completely detached. The detachment is even more obvious in his relations with his more extended family. He talks about his father as you would talk about someome you’d read about. It’s as if his mother, grandmother are stuffed figures to be pulled out-and seldom at that-to make some political point. I know “narcissist” is the term most often used in connection with his perceived personality, but there’s another description that would also fit, I can’t call it to mind right now. It refers to people who seem to be void of warth and humanity-not necessarily evil, though it goes with a certain kind of evil quite often-just remote, empty, dead eyes of a shark, amoral more than immoral. Clinton was humanly immoral-on a grand scale. Hissein is completely different from this.
Obummer’s anti-Brit animus, likely a crucial aspect of the ingrained attitude of many Kenyans regarding British colonialism, was made evident early in 2009.
The reported language of Obama's Kenyan family, is the language of commerce, adopted by the Arab slave traders, engaged in securing personnel. It is quite possible that the East African Obamas were engaged in enslaving the West Africans. (One doubts if the Community Organizer in Southside Chicago, discussed that possibility with those targeted for "organizing" (arguably, a modern equivalent to the 17th & 18th Century version).
