Voters and Delegates say NOT Romney

This entire not Romney force is building to BUST like a water balloon in the face of Romney, his minions and the RNC on the Greta Poll this week on Greta Wire and pounded it within minutes! People are ANGRY. They are angry at our cowardly media because they cannot address the current King, and you want to force feed another via crowning Romney, and have pushed turnout to record LOWS far below what is was with Stinky McCain in 2008.

I’ll vote for Gingrich on Tues. and if Mitt gets the nomination, it will be my last vote as a Republican.

Just because you get knocked down doesn't mean you can't get up, dust yourself off, and get back into the fight. I don't care how long it takes, I'm going to lock my jaws down on the Republican Party and fight, fight, fight until the right people gain control.

They can knock me down 1000 times, and I'm going to get up 1000 times - and I ain't walkin' away! (and *you* shouldn't, either!)

This past year at our local Republican Party Executive Committee (the largest in my state) we had elections for president of the organization. The candidate from the Tea Party - and arch conservative if ever there was one - got 30% of the vote and lost.

However, next time she's liable to win if we stay in the fight.

And, the incumbent president who I thought was part of the "good ol' boy club" stunned me by eventually resigning to work for Herman Cain's campaign (anything *but" "good ol' boy"!).

Are you a member of your local Republican Executive Committee? If not, then you haven't even started to fight.

Hello, betty...how are you?

I was for Sarah, then for Cain, then Santorum, and now Newt. I am hoping against hope that somehow Newt will pull off a miracle and force a brokered convention so we can get a more conservative candidate.

But, if that does not happen, I posted here on FR, and on my own site, exactly what I intend to do and why.

The fact is, with Obama and his proven track record of destruction to this Republic, another 5 trillion in debt, ObamaCare, defanging and nuetering our military, allowing Iran the Nuke, and appeasement with Russia and China, as well as pushing the dependents on government over 50%...and there may well be no other ballot or peaceful chance to turn things around.

I will do what I indicate above just like the actual survival of the Republic depends on it...because I believe it does.

God bless you betty, and may God's wisdom shine on us as a people that we may come through these extremely dangerous times.

look at the approval ratings that John McCain had at this point in the campaign, 53 percent; George W. Bush and Bob Dole, 49 percent. Again, Mitt Romney down at 34 percent.

If that doesn't tell the story, then nothing will. Center-right voters have looked at Mitt Romney and have seen right through his snake oil salesman grin. He's a fraud, and voters know it.

How on earth can a Republican challenger beat an incumbent Democrat president with that sort of lackluster support? Frankly, I don't think he can. He's incapable of generating enthusiasm, and if he's relying on the fear vote to put him over the top, then he's got a lot to worry about with people like me, who would rather vote for Mickey Mouse

He's really in trouble here in the South. You know he came in third in both Mississippi and Alabama.

Your state, Texas hasn't voted, but even if he pulls out a win against dead broke Newt Gingrich, that's no guarantee he can carry Texas against the Marxist, without conservatives coming out in massive numbers to vote for him and I don't think y'all will.

This is one of the best posts I’ve seen in a while and I think she is spot on. I really enjoyed the read and the inspiration it provided. I feel about Romney exactly how I felt about Obama before he was elected. I feel that he is dangerous and completely opposite what this country needs.

“How does it feel to be indistinguishable from an Obama campaign worker?”

I wouldn’t know. But I bet it feels the same as being a complete hack and Romney shill on FR. You would know all about that.

“I will do what I indicate above just like the actual survival of the Republic depends on it...because I believe it does”

I agree with you. Many here don’t, and I can’t say I don’t see where they are coming from, but I strongly believe that Barack Obama is by far the most destructive president in my lifetime and may do irreparable damage to the country if given another term.

That sums it up well. People are moaning about Romney. They are hyped up about shrinking the power of the government and getting back rights Congress and Obama have taken. Not a good thing to pick a leftist Republican. We need a screaming banshee. :)

"So what is the assured (uncontested) hard count of delegates from Colorado and Florida?"

Colorado "hard count": Paul 5, Santorum 7, Romney 22.

This could be off by one or two, since all delegates are soft (they can vote however they darn well please, though I don't see the Romneyites going anywhere).

--I was a Delegate to State and my Congrsesional District. I was for Newt, but we did not do well. Organization is extremely important for caucuses.

A click on your profile tells me that I agree with you on virtually every aspect of my ideology. But it seems we don’t agree on the effect of the Obama administration on the country. I see it as arsenic that may have already soaked too deep, but potententially reversible. I believe another four years of Obama turns us into western Europe, and you do not.

I also think that a concerted effort to retain the House and take the Senate can force a windsock President like Romney to sign things written by Paul Ryan. It may be enough to reverse the inertia, it may not, but Obama means we really will have to go Galt.

You may not want a liberal in office and I may not want a liberal in office but there are those pesky voters in primaries who keep voting for the most liberal candidate.

You mean those open primaries that allows Democrats and Independents to vote along with Republicans for the GOP Nomine??

As to the “uncommitted” in Colorado. Almost all of the office-holders who run, run as “uncommitted” because they don’t want to tick off any segment of the party unnecessarily. It just means they didn’t go to Romney until later. Sorry to give you the bad news, but that’s what’s really going on.

1woodham, she did spend a lot of time on research and the article goes on with various referrals. I read Doughty One’s post too and am very much in sync with them both.
Romney could have just as easily run as a democrat based on his record in Mass. Would we have voted for him as a dem?
