New details in Fast & Furious
Tucson News Now ^ | Apr 20, 2012 | NA

Congress has learned the most wanted man in the Fast and Furious investigation, Manuel Acosta, was allowed to traffic thousands of guns to Mexico.

Only after the death of Border Agent Brian Terry south of Tucson was Acosta's operation shut down.

He was arrested and released at least three times during the operation.

That's why congressional investigators suspect the justice department is unwilling to talk about Acosta's possible role as an informant.

Rep. Jason Chaffetz said, "We could have taken him in and prosecuted him anything. It's either total incompetence or maybe it's something a bit more coordinated that the Department of Justice is not willing yet to talk about."

"Somebody back in Washington was making terrible disastrous calls on this…and it's lead to the death of a lot of people," Chaffetz said.

Guns used by Acosta in two of these deadly incidents were both traced to Fast and Furious.

I don't think it will make any difference. Except maybe get another congressional investigation that will go absolutely no where.
Yes, I hope and pray I am wrong.

Like Old Man River. It just keeps rolling along.

Not that they ever have any intention of doing anything about it.

Fast & Furious should be bigger than Watergate. People dies. How many? Who knows? It was set up to help Obama bring about gun control and do away with the 2nd. Amendment, but like all of Obama’s mistakes he is covered by his protective aura, and the MSM.

The only incompetence was that they were so smug in ignring the law that they failed to have iron-clad deniability ready to move with and have to resort to stonewalling in the hopes they will wake up one morning and it will all be a bad dream. Let's hope it turns to a real-life nightmare for them.

They keep using terms like, snafu, botched, incompetance.

That represents an effort to bargain or conceed.

Why would they do THAT? Because the truth is MUCH worse.

They’re simply hard-working, extremely EVIL people who hate America.

And still, nothing happens to those involved.

I expect nothing from Eric Holder or his department. Clinton was impeached on December 19, 1998, by the House. The Senate trial was the following February. There's still plenty of time to impeach Holder and his top lieutenants. A trial to remove Holder et al. in the Senate should be a great show prior to this November, except for rat senators in safe seats.

I'd like to see prosecutions, but these hacks should never hold any federal appointed office again at the least.
