Was he telling the truth about having a loan?
Who gave him a loan?
When did he get the first loan?
How many loans did he have?
Was it a Saudi bank loan?

I have many questions about this.

Barry is counting on the dumb and young to pull his Marxist @$$ out of the fire in November. It’s too bad “college” kids are so damn gullible.

Does Barry want to reveal how he paid for college, who helped him through college, and under what category he was in college? Let’s see some fancy skating on thin ice.

he had loans? well, then show us the loan paperwork, application, statement that says they were paid in full, etc etc etc. The moron does kind of set himself up for more and more scrutiny every day he wakes up.

For the kid attending a local state college...living the first two years out of dad’s house...getting dad to contribute half of the tuition...I doubt if the kid incurs more than $20k in student loan debt by the 4th year. The same is true for a community college goal and taking real technicial classes (HVAC, diesel mechanics, business accounting, etc)...a kid will do well.

If you go to an out-of-state school, with high tuition costs...you are simply adding years of misery onto your back. Once you get past $75k in loan issues...you’ve put yourself into a lousy position for the first decade of your life after leaving home.

Yeah, I fear he still is paying back his “loans” for his education... Watch him bow, watch him put antisemitic policies into place...

I’m sure that having a wife being paid $350,000 per year by the University of Chicago whose duties were (1) wife of State Senator and (2) Diversity Consultant helped with those student loans.

Why indeed?

Unless you are stupid.
Ignorance can easily be cured by factual knowledge.
Stupid is not easily cured.

Am I supposed to pity the stupid idiots who went deeply into debt, to major in a liberal arts/political science/communications/womans studies/basketweaving degree?

err...part of every USA State's budget includes hefty taxpayer funds dedicated to “higher education”.

Can we all agree that the current funding system is an EPIC FAILURE, as far as taxpayers funds are concerned?

And I am supposed to pretend to care that the stupid idiots who took out massive loans to pay for their useless degrees, have recently discovered that they really ARE expected to pay for their own student loan debts?

Is not basic economics a required course?

In the "nonpartisan" media -- and not just the MSM -- but entertainment media, wherever these tales are told they influence apolitical voters. Those voters will never know any negative facts about Obama.

Independents are the largest portion of voters, outnumbering either Democrats or Republicans.

I am not talking about this "dealignment trend" and the emergence of what Russell Dalton called the Apartisan American. That is the independent voter. The impact of apartisans is critical to the 2012 election and the future. But I am talking about his fourth category.

Dalton id'd four categories. The first two have greater political savvy and "are best viewed as either cognitive partisans or apartisans, depending upon partisan attachments." I understand apartisan to mean that they pay attention but they do not ID with a political party.

A third category has lower interest and skills and is categorized as ritual partisans. That kind used to vote for everyone in the Party with just one mark. That's the way I interpret it.

He's not who I mean either.

Here's the "dummy" I am talking about. The apolitical independent.

The others will be too savvy to be swayed by "nonpartisan" media no matter how hard "nonpartisan" media try. They will have knowledge of the other issues vis-a-vis Obama and will not be controlled by the "nonpartisan" media.

In a close election the impact of these cute stories on apolitical independents could give the election to Obama and the Democrats. No doubt in my mind that there are way more "nonpartisan" media that favor the Left than favor the Right.

The opinions about Obama, Democrats, and Republicans are mine.

The Apartisan American: Dealignment and Changing Electoral Politics Russell J Dalton.
