For their next exploding cigar, the Democrats chose polygamy.

For their next exploding cigar, the Democrats chose polygamy...

Just for the record, Romney's father was not a polygamist; Romney's grandfather was not a polygamist; his great-grandfather was a polygamist...

Meanwhile, back in the female-friendly party, Obama's father was a polygamist; his grandfather was a polygamist; and his great-grandfather was a polygamist who had one more wife (five in total) than Romney's great-grandfather.

Obama is the first male in his line not to be a polygamist...

The original problem was government taking over the sacrament of marriage. Marriage does and should belong to the Church, and the state should stay out of it.

Government involvement is the root cause.

Name calling is the best you can do when someone says they won't vote for Romney?

I'm guessing you aren't in sales.

Guessed wrong. I don’t try to convince the already convinced. I only respond to legitimate objections, not excuses. Anyone who would risk jeopardizing our Republic by having Obama elected again is not worth having a real conversation with.

Please don’t respond to me. I won’t/can’t answer stupidity....

You go far enough back in anyone’s background, you will find a polygamist. These days the urge to be married to multiple partners is served by multiple marriages and divorces. I say this not as a defense of Mormonism. It’s silly, and there are plenty of legitimate reasons not to like Romney, as a Democrat or two on this site, and their new found conservative comrades will be happy to point out. ...Go far enough back into someone’s generational past, and you might find all sorts of things, Obama probably had a few practicing necrophiliacs in his past, given what his Muslim Brotherhood buddies have demonstrated in Egypt.

Some people's children aren't worth the effort, Nana. They remain ignorant and supporting evil.

Have you seen Jim's list, comparing Romney and Obama?

To be consistent with their liberal lunacy, they will have to promote polyandry first, then polygamy.

I’m surprised they havn’t done so already.

I think there is a line by Lewis Carroll somewhere: "I've told you once, I've told you twice...what I tell you three times is true."

Clinton's father was a bigamist...assuming William Blythe was Clinton's biological father.

It’s unfortunate that Steyn’s rhetorical wit has to be employed in defense of a figure as unworthy as Romney.

They do promote it, just not in legal marriage terms. The “swinger” and slutty lifestyle is what Hollyweird and pop culture promote these days
