President Barack Obama wants to tell America a few things about Mitt Romney: he is rich and indifferent, bad for women, and might wobble at a fateful moment as commander-in-chief. Obama's reelection campaign has unleashed a daily, negative, character-based slashing of his November foe, ahead of the president's official campaign kick-off rallies in the crucial battlegrounds of Virginia and Ohio on Saturday. In the latest volley, Obama's camp produced a memo accusing Romney of pursuing an "extreme" agenda towards women, seeking to lock in the Republican challenger's liabilities with the key electoral demographic.

Pay back is a *itch Willard. What are you going to do know since you can't outspend your opponent 20-to-1?

Will Romney allow himself to be distracted?

The cat scratches like mad; let go before the job’s done and you’re in a world of hurt.

So Obama's campaign is saying that Romney is nearly as bad as Obama? I can't argue with that.

Barry is started to sound like an angry young black man. It must be all the pressure and/or internal polls.

Well, there is an upside. Mitt is pretty thin-skinned. Perhaps the Obama negative attack will inspire Mitt to fight back and attack Obama in return.

I don’t think Romney can win if he just tries to maintain the “nice guy high road” approach that cost McCain the 2008 election.

Seconded. If Romney's going to make a run at winning this thing, he has to go on the offensive and pound Obama to death where he's weak. He should use the Clintonian "It's all about the economy" concept to full effect.

He needs to show some genuine humanity, too. Somehow, he has to show some depth; that he's not a Guy Smiley car salesman type.

If Willard had the fortitude, he would respond thus.

> President Barack Obama wants to tell America a few things
> about Mitt Romney: he is rich and indifferent,

0bama0 is much richer and much more indifferent. 0bama0 has a BILLION dollar campaign warchest.

Look at the way he and Moochelle live. She’s constantly taking high-profile, exorbitant, ostentatious vacations without shame, while hundreds of thousands of Americans are without jobs to pay their most essential bills. Can you say, “Let them eat cake”?

His “Affordable Health Care Act” will assign life and death medical decisions to faceless, politically appointed bean counters.

How much more indifferent can you get?

> bad for women,

Yes, of course. We all know how women’s lot has improved under 0bama0. Just think. He wants to give you all the free contraceptives and abortions you want. Now, THAT’s sure an improvement, right? One question, ladies. Are you better off today than you were four years ago?

> and might wobble at a fateful moment as commander-in-chief.

When it comes to his Moslem brethren, Hussein always goes all wobbly. Has no problem persecuting the Church, though.

“Barry is started to sound like an angry young black man. It must be all the pressure and/or internal polls.”

Until the election is over Obama himself will be the picture of civility (with occasional slips); the Dem way is to use proxies as attack dogs while maintaining the illusion of being above such mudslinging.

If Obama comes across as a Farrakhan or Sharpton he’ll lose just in absentee ballots before Election Day itself; he’ll just have to rely on the foreign agents in our media to do the heavy lifting for him.

Gee, this is great isn’t it? Maybe FR could post a persistent link to the Obama website?

It’ll be even more fun to see how many liberties Obama can trample in his second term. Not to mention how much he’ll fleece us, and what he’ll give away to China and Russia.

Isn’t that going to be fun?
