Well, if they found a reason to switch to Obama this month, they at the very least have their heads up their as*es.

I was at a client site in Concord, NH about seven years ago. That is exactly what I was told by a local what is happening to the state.

"Obama up big in swing-state New Hampshire" BIG swing state? New Hampshire has 4 electoral votes, how can they swing anything? I guess any good news for "the made for television president" excites the media.

After the NYT poll showing Romney leading nationwide the call went out for all the fellow-travelers to gin up some good Obama numbers.

Some claim the state is infected by New Yorkers moving in ruining the state like ex-NYers did to VT. The Mass exiles are more of the right, at least libertarian.

NH is not a swing state. The only way Romney wins NH is if this turns out to be a massive wave election where Romney carries most of the states.

NH is a swing state in the sense that it has voted for the eventual winner in 8 out of the last 10 elections. So does it swing to a winner or make a winner? With Romney a close neighbor I’d bet it goes R this year which looks like another swing to the winner year to me.
