Hawaii to Ariz.: Prove need to verify Obama birth
PHOENIX (AP) - The attorney general's office in Hawaii is telling Arizona's secretary of state that if he wants confirmation of President Barack Obama's birth records, he'll have to prove he legitimately needs it.
Special Assistant Joshua Wisch said late Friday that Arizona Secretary of State Ken Bennett hasn't done that despite numerous email and phone exchanges between their offices.
Wisch says Hawaii state laws require Bennett to show legal authority that this office needs the records to update its official lists as part of its ordinary work.
Wisch says as soon as Bennett gives Hawaii adequate authority, the Aloha State will verify Obama's birth.
Bennett said in a radio interview this week that Obama's status on Arizona's ballot is in question unless Hawaii verifies his birthplace.
Hawaii officials have confirmed multiple times that Obama was born there.
*sarc* I don’t understand AZ’s issue here regarding Obama’s BC. All AZ has to do is call FOX NEWS and get confirmation from the leprecaun. Hasn’t he already seen it in it’s original form and confirmed he was indeed born in Hawaii?

Maybe Arizona should refer to Article II, Section 1 of the U.S. Constitution. I wonder if they have one lying around somewhere in Hawaii . . .

If Obama wants on the Arizona ballot, let him talk to Hawaii.
The proof is simplicity itself: The absence of BO on the ballot in Arizona. Is that acceptable proof, Hawaii?
But that's the rub in light of the probably fabricated "birth certificate" he's published. The birth document that's most likely on file is a Hawaiian do it yourself Certificate of Live Birth that was probably signed either by Madelyn Dunham or Stanley Ann Dunham stating he was born some place other than a hospital. If that ever comes out there will be a huge firestorm, especially because he's now published a transparent fake. Thus, Hawaii will never release the real document.
Hey Hawaii, it’s called “The Constitution” and it has something to do with a provision about eligibility.
I presume its attorney general has studied said document?
If Bennett plays Hawaii's game, he will lose. So, shift the burden to Hawaii & let their “favorite son” suffer the consequences.

Obama has affirmed that he was born in Hawaii by providing a copy of a Hawaiian certificate of live birth (apparently fraudulent).
Every Democrat and some Republicans (and quite a few even here on FR) insist he is a `natural born citizen’ and smear anyone demanding authenticated proof.
Obama had his book agent place in his bio 15 years ago that he was born in Kenya.
Client and Obama are liars and anyone who believes what they say is either a Democrat or a dupe.
But I repeat myself ....
Now we wait to see if Ken Bennett was bluffing.

I have seen SO MANY of these things fizzle and go slurping down the tubes that I think the chances of AZ making the requirement stick are slim and none....and Slim just left for Cheyenne. So what does that leave?
Simple. Send the stupid bastards a copy of the U.S. Constitution.
Translation: “We need more time to falsify the long form and registry records.”
