Wow, I read the article and then started reading the online responses. Sickening. I felt like I was listening to the men from Sodom and Gomorrah. Cheering on each other and their sinfulness. We, as a nation of people, are certainly no better than the people of Sodom and Gomorrah.

God is holy. We need a savior, as we are not. Jesus provides our salvation through His death and resurrection. No other opinion matters.

I have NO sympathy for homosexuals!

Homosexuality is a "Mark" of disobedience.

It was given by our Heavenly Father to test us
to see ... if we will OBEY our Heavenly Father,
and abide by His commandments, statues, and ordinances.

Someone once asked

"Why are they [homosexuals] all so angry?"

The answer is in the definition of "REPROBATE".

Someone who steals or murders, knows stealing and murder is a sin....gays don’t think what they are doing is a sin, and therefore, imply that they think the Bible is wrong.

I was about to post this, and then searched "in depth" and found this posting. It is a good treatment, insomuch as it deals with the more common arguments one might hear in favor of homosexuality in Christianity (or Judaism) in common modern-day culture.

Of particular note, IMO:

In claiming that David and Jonathan had a homosexual relationship she confuses kinship affection with erotic love. Her claim that “from the perspective of the New Testament” the Sodom story was about “the near rape of angels, not sex between men” makes an "either-or" out of Jude 7’s "both-and."

Her canard that only a few Bible texts reject homosexual practice overlooks other relevant texts and the fact that infrequent mention is often a sign of significance. It is disturbing to read what passes nowadays for expert “liberal” reflections on what the Bible says about homosexual practice.

In my experience, the above is the most common one will hear from pro-homosexual apologists. Thus, most worthy of note. But the entire editorial is worth reading IMO.
