Mitt Romney now leads President Obama in the race for Florida's 29 electoral votes, a significant reversal from earlier this spring, according to a new Quinnipiac University poll released early on Wednesday.

Romney leads Obama overall, 47 percent to 41 percent, the poll shows. Two percent of voters prefer another candidate, 7 percent are undecided, and 3 percent said they would not vote. Three weeks ago, in another Quinnipiac poll, the two candidates were statistically tied, with Romney at 44 percent and Obama at 43 percent.

Hispanics are not a monolithic block in FL. There are a lot of Puerto Ricans (solid dim voters) and other non-cuban hispanics. Also, I doubt the younger Cuban generation is 100% GOP. So it’s a REAL big deal that Romney is running strongly in that demographic without Rubio on the ticket.

I know of 5 people. A homo doctor, 1 homo nurse, 2 homo realtor partners, and one of the stupidest college students you will ever meet. She doesn’t even know who Pelosi or Reid are and can’t name the VP. Pathetic.

Looks like the FReeper Romney-haters have got some work to do in Florida!
______________
They sure do. If these closet Obama voters they start bashing Floridians, and I see it, I’m not going to sit idly by. I will take my chances on a visit from the kitty. I’ve just about had it.

It just blows my mind how everybody seems to believe any poll. ALL pollsters have an agenda, I truly believe this, seems I am the minority.

Up Chuck Todd at MSNBC telegraphed how his poll the NBC/WSJ poll was the gold standard, and that it would show that Romney was not leading among women as a poll suggested about a week ago.

I do not believe ANY of the polls, however I do believe that once polls are released, they tend to become reality at some point.

This business of averaging phony polls has got to be the biggest crock.

If only there was no polling, people might have to think for themselves.

Totally agree. Can’t stand Romney. It’s like the GOP wants Obama re-elected.

Can you imagine the news reporting when obama loses big in November? Heads exploding and pants wetting all over the media.

Same exact thoughts were posted here in 2008 when McCain/Palin were ahead in the polls

Florida poll: Quarter of voters less inclined to back Obama over gay marriage issue

http://www.politico.com/politico44/2012/05/florida-poll-quarter-of-voters-less-inclined-to-back-124311.html

It's called the straw that broke the camels back. They are not turning on Obama ONLY because of his coming out... this was just the last straw. ALL of the things you mentioned bothered them too, but for some those alone weren't enough (especially when blame for many of those things is so hard to place solely on Obama)

Next time they call you a “retarded tea bagger” ask them if they can name who their state reps and governor and VP and who their Regularion Czar is?

Then watch them sit there and short circuit like a computer being glitched by Captain kirk.

The only real good poll, outside of Election Day, is Rassmussen.

This is very encouraging news. Obama nearly lost Florida in 2008 and can ill afford to lose it this time.

Note to self, as much as I want to watch FOX news on election night, I think it will be more entertaining to watch the MSM and Chirssy Mathews crying....

I see the “FUMR” crowd in our midst is well-represented there.

omitting a story, blockading information, is a way of spining the meme.

this way they only report pro-obama, obliterate anti-obama, and so only pro-obama hits the search engines.

Also of interest is that 2000 plus dead voters have been removed from the roster statewide. While our voter id laws make in person voting nearly impossible dead folks, it won’t stop absentee voting. even more important is an effort to purge the rolls of illegals http://miami.cbslocal.com/2012/05/09/exclusive-florida-investigating-potential-non-citizen-voters/ . The Broward county SOE has been dragged kicking and screaming to task of dealing with this. Given that the margin in 2000 was 542 votes, this is in biden’s words...a BFD.

Now if we could only figure out how stop the practice of nursing home employees ordering and filling out ballots for the elderly who are either mentally or physically unable to prevent this, we could stop a few thousand more illegal votes.

True. Then we had a sudden economic crisis that voters blamed entirely on the GOP, and we had a senile old goat with no horn for a Presidential candidate who essentially ceded the race.

Things are different now. This year we win.

This is good. Ignoring means they’re scared. But they’re not scared enough yet. Somebody important has to totally wig out. Then you know that it’s over for the Dems.

They are not turning on Obama ONLY because of his coming out... this was just the last straw.

I think this gay thing will simply kill Obama in a way that few people seem to appreciate.

At this point in his Presidency, after 3.5 years of divisiveness and stagnation, he comes out with this big cynical highly-orchestrated ploy that has nothing to do with the American people in general being able to support their families and secure their own future.

I think this makes people look at every single thing the guy says and does and ask "What's the scam?"

Stimulus, Obamacare, green energy, global warming, Trayvon Martin, war on women, contraception, occupy whatever, Bain, etc., etc.

Every single thing he says and does has been diminished by the utterly transparent cynicism of his gay scam.
