How about the REALLY CHEAP .380 Makarov...
During the 1990s, the Russian Firearms manufacturer Baikal marketed various Makarov handguns in the United States under the IJ-70 model. Included were handguns in both standard and high capacity frames. They were available in .380 ACP in addition to the standard 9 mm Makarov round. Some minor modifications were made to facilitate importation into the United States.

Warning Gun Porn Diversity, is addictive (14 combo Rifle{s} & Handgun{s}) now I see the need for more. :-)
I think a warning should be given whenever "Gun Porn" is shown, you know that after viewing you start looking then purchase, I'm shocked, shocked I'll tell ya. End sarcasm

I’ve shot mine a lot & it has never failed to fire, anything.
The CZ wood grips are a nice add, though nothing wrong with the stock rubber. It carries well in a ComTac Minotaur holster.
I like the Judge revolver too, but I’m 230 lbs and still prefer a pistol. If I’m anticipating driving down a `Martin L. King, Jr. Blvd,’ I take the CZ 97 in a Ross shoulder holster.

PS I replaced both guide rods—plastic!—and the stock 13 pound recoil spring in the 97 with a Wolff 16 for FMJ.
I don’t know who makes the SS guide rods now, sorry.

with a Wolff 16 for FMJ. Given that we can always learn new...why would it be necessary to use a heavier spring for a FMJ round?
I ask because I used to own a Firestar M43 9mm that had ejector problems...1 per mag would fail to eject and jam the action. This was supposed to be resolved by installing a newer, beefier ejector/spring assembly.
It did not resolve the problem but putting in a Wolff 24lb recoil spring did resolve it. The factory spring was a 16.
But the problem manifested no matter what type of round I used.
