I was kind of hoping both parties lose. Perhaps necessitating Harvard to create an affirmative action free zone at the school for the safety of students who do not need any weed that particular evening.

If her son is 1/1000 Native American she can claim it was a hate crime.
My understanding of this case, if I recall correctly, is that neither the perpetrators of the murder nor the murdered man were Harvard students. A young lady who was a student violated school policy by giving one of the involved parties her keycard to the dorm building.
Not sure how that’s Harvard’s fault. Seems that the suit would be more properly directed at the young lady (who is now, I believe, a former Harvard student). But of course, the young lady doesn’t have $35 billion.
