The Feds have been forced to release their social network monitoring manual, which contains the list of words the government watches on social media and news sites.

[snip]

Homeland Security Manual Lists Government Key Words For Monitoring Social Media, News

Ever complain on Facebook that you were feeling “sick?” Told your friends to “watch” a certain TV show? Left a comment on a media website about government “pork?”

If you did any of those things, or tweeted about your recent vacation in “Mexico” or a shopping trip to “Target,” the Department of Homeland Security may have noticed.

So let me see. If I went to a medical facility because I had an allergy attack that prevented me from being able to properly exercise and posted that here, I’d be on the watch list??

I'm glad FR is not one of them social sites. Wot?

Here's how President Obama's head of the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs and author of "Repulblic.com," Cass Sunstein, describes FreeRepublic.com as "group polarization," where people segregate themselves so effectively online with other like-minded thinkers that they create an echo chamber where the group's worst and most malevolent opinions get reinforced and strengthened. "We might want to consider," Sunstein startlingly told the Times recently, "the possibility of ways of requiring or encouraging sites to link to opposing viewpoints."

D'oh!

The words on the list also have to appear in context with other suspicious words to get flagged.

i.e. A phrase that contains “shopping” and “Target”
would not be flagged. The word “shopping” and the fact that Target is capitalized would mark the phrase as innocuous.

Gee, I guess I'm safe here using such deragotory terms such as "Dear Leader," the "FASCIST Neo-Commie," " Islamic-Jihadist-Appeaser/Defender" etc, as well as Demo-Rats, the "Party of Surrender and Defeat," not too mention, referring to the head of the Dept of Homeland [IN]Security as that "Clueless, Fat Beatch?"

Guess I can stop watching for the black helicopters (or have they been replaced with drones yet?) and can sleep safely knowing the Gestapo-like, Jack-Booted Thugs will not be kicking my door in. lol

It sounds like the government is going to target poor people from Mexico that eat a lot of pork, possibly by giving their computer a virus so they can’t shop online for medicine in Canada for common ailments like colds and flu, which could drive up prices to epic proportions and make flu shots more expensive, there by endangering population of the United States, Russia, and China.

The sooner all these folks get porked in the upcoming election cycles the better off we all will be.

Uh oh! You said "porked". Your post just got triggered by Fatherland Security. Oops! Now I've triggered a watch on my post by mentioning your post.

Oh well, might as well list all the double secret probation words That Fatherland Security is on the watch for...

I think you win the prize, butterdezillion! Worth repeating:

“Everybody has used one or more of those words in their communications. This list will do nothing to narrow down potential threats, but it DOES give the feds permission to spy on everybody. They know who they want to spy on, and it has little to do with homeland security.”

With ALL the electronic media we use, we have created detailed dossiers on ourselves, just waiting until someone decides we are worthy of being investigated...for whatever reason.

This does not give comfort especially in view of the fact that the NSA is planning a new building for cyber security outside Salt Lake City, Utah, targeted for completion in Sept of 2013. There are some who are reporting that the center will store all forms of communication including contents of private emails, cell phone calls, Google searches and keep personal data trails such as parking receipts, travel interaries, purchases, etc. There is a REASON why they want to move us from a cashless society!

If you want to be on or off the Agenda 21 ping list, please notify me by Freepmail. It is a relatively low volume list in which we have been exploring the UN Agenda21 and related topics. We have collected our studies with threads, links, and discussions on the Agenda 21 thread which can be found here:
