I watched that movie with six or seven others in a local theatre years ago. I had brought a small bottle of scotch to drink with the diet coke I purchased from the concession. My eyes are all watery now as they were at the end of the flick. I’ve had a dvd copy for years now. Can’t bring myself to play it.

She was only fifty-two; and 'apparently' in good health. Always more to a person, of course; than 'meets the eye'; but perhaps; her mission accomplished; a sadness and a need to join her husband, allowed Sandy Dahl to leave early and quietly. Whatever the case; wish her 'God speed'. No doubt; many 'Thank You's' left behind.
(Almost irrelevant to this story, which connects us again to the virtues of personal courage; sacrifice, altruism; find myself stuck on the word 'instigated' as it describes Sandy Dahl's efforts to establish a scholarship in her husbands name.)

Fifty-two? Hardly natural. But I imagine she was overjoyed to see her husband again. God receive Your servant.
