This is not so far from what you will find reading a lot of Libertarian sites. Lew Rockwell is full of not simply continentalist isolationist arguments but genuine loathing of the people who make up the armed services. Many of the contributors are anarchist capitalist equivalents of Mr. Ayres and Chris Hayes. I got a comment from a Libtard the other day that summed it up. ‘Heroes, hardly. The people we pay to fight in Afghanistan and Iraq are highly trained mercenary killers. They represent the worst aspects of America and are the opposite of the citizen soldier defending his native land. In fact the people we are fighting in those places are the true heroes and have a far better claim to the mantle of patriot. ........” and on for several graphs. There really is a convergence between the left and the Libtards about the uniformed services. They do detest the people who wear uniforms not just the policies that put them in Afghanistan or Iraq. They claim to dislike military personnel for different reasons but for many in both groups it is because they secretly feel small around military people as many of both groups really are physical cowards.
