On Friday, far-left actress Roseanne Barr went on an anti-Catholic rant on Twitter, as she seemingly gave her take on the controversy over ObamaCare's abortifacient/contraception mandate. Barr reused some of her previous bigoted attacks: painting Catholic priests as child molesters, and calling for the registration of the Church as a PAC. She even called for the taxation of the Catholic Church.
In her first Tweet, the washed-up comedian spewed, "Catholic employers need to include psychiatric coverage for their women employees's [sic] children who might get molested by catholic priests!" This echoes an April 2010 post Barr made on her personal blog, where she blasted church-going Catholics: "I am starting to think that any parent who takes their kids to catholic churches from now on should lose custody. Taking your kid where you know sex offenders hang out is inexcusable!!!"
A minute later, the left-wing personality continued her attack: "Catholic men deciding whether or not to include pregnancy issues in the health coverage they offer their employees-#PACs-tax them." In Barr's warped view, abortion and birth control are now lumped in the broad category of "pregnancy issues."
This isn't the first time that the Hollywood denizen has used this line. In November 2008, shortly after California voters passed Proposition 8, Barr not only singled out Catholics, but also Mormons and Jews. As NewsBusters' managing editor Ken Shepherd outlined:
Mormon and Catholic churches and Jewish synagogues should be forced to register with the IRS as political action committees because they have 'crossed the line between church and state' and 'hate our country' and want nothing less than the 'complete overthrow of the us [sic] government.'
So bellows leftist comedian Roseanne Barr in a November 6 blog post, citing support for Proposition 8, conservative sexual ethics, and support for the state of Israel as her reasons respectively.
Last but not least, the actress targeted Pope Benedict XVI in a third Tweet: "they imagine that by controlling the mothers of humanity-they are the ultimate mothers-that is why the pope wears a dress." With a lame smear like that, it's no wonder that Lifetime cancelled Barr's reality series after only one season in 2011.
Now here is this fat, ugly housewife who got lucky and made people laugh with her ignorant jokes.
She left her husband when the money came in and married another comedian, who she left.
Getting money ,in her mind, made her smart enough to start showing people just how ignorant she is.

Roseanne Barr is an example of a culture that is, as Robert Bork has called it, “Slouching Towards Gomorrah.” This moral decline has touched every aspect of American life: social, cultural, and political. Barr has truly lost her moral compass when she attacks one of the world’s bastions of moral authority. Barr’s immoral position falls in line with today’s glorification of violence, destruction of property, and mindless hatred of law, authority, and tradition. If there was a challenge as to who could outslut the sluts, Roseanne Barr would certainly step up to the plate.

The Catholics may indeed win the battle, but I doubt it has anything to do with most Americans being fed up with Catholic bashing. Very likely the majority of Americans have no clue what this flap between the church and the regime is or what it means.
Tax deductions for charity should be eliminated altogether in a way that produces $0 new revenues. This would result in a tax cut for all. People who choose to support organizations would have more money for that purpose. What would be eliminated is people and businesses contributing for tax purposes.
