Here is how you can tell this is a political story:
For independents, it portrays Obama as a tough-as-nails Commander In Chief who orders the death of terrorists.
For liberals, it shows he does not use drones indiscriminately (like Bush did), but in a very careful, methodical, surgical manner where he takes personal interest in making sure only the right people are killed.
