1. Rumor has it that in the videotape, candidate Obama said some things about the status of Israel that would upset American Jews.
2. As I recall, LA Times officials made a confusing and vague statement back in 2008 that they would not release the videotape because they didn't want the videotape to have unnecessary influence on the presidential race, whatever that meant.
3. In my opinion, LA Times officials have an ethical and journalistic duty to release the videotape so that we voters can decide for ourselves if the videotape damages Obama's presidential campaign especially among American Jewish voters.
4. Again, LA Times officials have an ethical and journalistic duty to release the videotape after hiding it under lock and key for these past 4 years, because after some voters watch the videotape, they may become so angry over what they hear that they could show their anger and change the course of American presidential history by voting for someone else other than Obama to be President of the United States come Nov. 2012.
