Fire Engulfs Uncle Mark’s Popcore Warehouse in Morganfield KY
Multiple fire crews in Union County, Kentucky, are working what witnesses are calling a “massive” fire at the Uncle Mark’s Popcorn Warehouse in Morganfield.
The call first came in around 8:40 Wednesday night that a large warehouse in the area was on fire. When crews arrived, they discovered it was the Uncle Mark’s Popcorn facility. At 9:24pm, the Red Cross had dispatched volunteers with food and water to relieve the crews. Videographers from 14 News reported the flames were “bright as day” from as far as a mile away from the location.
Tri-staters are very familiar with the brand, sold locally.
