President Obamas re-election campaign launched Part 2 of its strategy to discredit Republican Mitt Romney this week, pouncing on his record as Massachusetts governor after more than two weeks of attacks on his private-equity years.
The campaign released a five-page memo and a four-minute Web video Wednesday characterizing Romneys leadership of Massachusetts as a failure, and senior adviser David Axelrod announced that he will host a news conference in front of the state house in Boston Thursday morning to drive home his criticism of Romneys record.
When it comes to Mitt Romney and his economic philosophy, the facts are clear, wrote Axelrod in a memo distributed Wednesday. It didnt work then, and it wont work now.

It will be interesting to see what new and creative ways they find to have this backfire.
"Mr President, tell us how successful your lemonade stand was".
What’s with all the negativity zer0? Why don’t you run on your own stellar record?
Good point! He, Romney, should also remind everyone of his, Bowbama’s, public sector (None) and legislative career (Present!) accompishments!
One of the things that is interesting is that obamy never held a job but is worth millions.
Obama never did an honest days work in his life.
Years ago, my pastor pointed out the 3 second camera change. Most video we watch, whether TV, or movie or documentary, news .. whatever has a camera angle change every 3 to 5 seconds, subliminally conditioning our eye / brain connection to be 'short term'
I discovered a related problem back in the '80's when I took a Greyhound from WV to Arizona. We stopped in Tulsa to wash the bus and lay over a bit .. I think about an hour and a half, and to while away the time, I dropped a quarter in the PacMan maghine and played for about 40 minutes or so (same quarter .. I was good at getting replays).
When we were called to board the bus, I returned to my seat and picked up the book I had been reading and LO !!
My eyes, after 40 minutes of hand/eye co-ordinating, went left, up,left, right,up,down, right,up,right .. etc.
It took about an hour of staring out the window to put my eyes back into a reading "condition"
Now, having said all that ... I think the voting public outside of Freepers and other likeminded people, have 3-5 second attention spans, thus;
The bumper sticker comment would serve Romney very well because he can't really string a bunch a words together in an interesting tone, unlike the Kenyan who is clean and articulate.
Memo to AnointedIdiot and the DNC: Run on your record, if you have the balls too.... =.=
Sad situation
Romney is very vulnerable on his record yet the GOP elite and dumb voters gave him the nomination
How can any one defend him against the attacks on his record
Only response is Obama is worse
I repeat myself:
Romney needs to remind his critics, and respond, that he had an overwhelmingly Democrat/Liberal/Socialist legislature to work with and that didn't help.
And, again:
He, Romney, should also remind everyone of his, Bowbamas, public sector (None) and legislative career (Present!) accompishments!
All Obama has to do is read FreeRepublic to get his talking points.
What talking points? That he never ran even a lemonade stand?
This has been prepared years ago by Romney's partner, Soros.
And, tobyhill, you ought tell the truth more often.
"As U.S. real output grew 13 percent between 2002 and 2006, Massachusetts trailed at 9 percent.
* Manufacturing employment fell 7 percent nationwide those years, but sank 14 percent under Romney, placing Massachusetts 48th among the states.
* Between fall 2003 and autumn 2006, U.S. job growth averaged 5.4 percent, nearly three times Massachusetts' anemic 1.9 percent pace.
* While 8 million Americans over age 16 found work between 2002 and 2006, the number of employed Massachusetts residents actually declined by 8,500 during those years.
"Massachusetts was the only state to have failed to post any gain in its pool of employed residents," professors Sum and McLaughlin concluded.
In an April 2003 meeting with the Massachusetts congressional delegation in Washington, Romney failed to endorse President Bush's $726 billion tax-cut proposal."

How can obama attack romney here? Their record and policy regarding MA are both socialist. Obama’s attacking his own record...
While Massachusetts didn't do better than 47 other states they were also controlled by 60% Liberal Rats.
