When asked why she is so confident the Supreme Court will uphold the health care law, Pelosi says, "Because I know the Constitution."

As everyone knows, she said the House had to pass the bill to find out what was in it. So she didn’t read it before voting. And, once passed, one suspects she felt no need to read it. And especially so, since she won’t have to live by its provisions regarding health care, having exempted herself.
Ditto the Constitution. This glorified bag lady would make the founders weep.
What you don’t realize is that no matter how foolish she looks to the rest of us, nothing she says will diminish her popularity in San Francisco. She has the luxury of making an outlandish prediction exactly because she won’t have to face a voter block that will scold her for being ignorant. Besides...all she is really doing is setting up the narrative to be played after this is struck down. You know, the one about “activist conservative judges”...my firm belief is that they have already given up and are setting the stage to try and rally their base for November with this new narrative.
I am on the side that she knows..or maybe this is a trial balloon so someone can see the response.
