NEW YORK, May 31, 2012 (LifeSiteNews.com) - An employee at the flagship abortion clinic of Planned Parenthood in New York has been caught on tape telling a woman how to be sure of her unborn baby’s female sex in order to abort her in a second undercover video released Thursday morning.
The footage shows the undercover investigator, walking past a sign on the wall that reads “WOMEN COUNT,” meeting Planned Parenthood social worker Randi Coun at the Margaret Sanger Center International on Bleecker St.
Coun walks the investigator through obtaining a CVS test to determine gender as early as the first trimester, but assures the potential patient that it would be just as safe to obtain an abortion as late as 24 weeks.
“Yeah, so, you know, with—an abortion at any stage up to 24 weeks is considered a safe procedure. Um, the biggest difference is that after 16 weeks, the procedure becomes a 2-day procedure, rather than a procedure that’s done just on one day,” says the social worker. “It’s just there’s more steps involved and it’s just a little more complicated.”
Unborn children younger than 16 weeks are aborted by either dilation and curettage (D&C) or dilation and evacuation (D&E), in which the body is cut into pieces to ease removal from the womb. After 16 weeks a saline abortion can be used, in which a strong salt solution is injected into the amniotic sac. This kills the baby by burning its outer layer of skin and poisoning it when the solution is swallowed, a process that takes around an hour. Labor to expel the body normally sets in naturally within 24 hours, completing the abortion procedure.
Coun tells the investigator that Planned Parenthood would not question her sex-selection motivations. “I can tell you that here at Planned Parenthood we believe that it’s not up to us to decide what is a good or a bad reason for somebody to decide to terminate a pregnancy,” she said.
Pro-life blogger Jill Stanek, who is a nurse, notes the CVS suggestion is an extreme one that puts the baby at risk. “CVS tests have a risk of miscarriage of about 1 in 100, which Coun did not mention, and are typically done to test for genetic disorders,” wrote Stanek.
The video was released two days after footage from a Texas clinic showed a counselor helping a potential client get an ultrasound to determine the baby’s gender for a sex-selective abortion, and warning her not to tell doctors of her intentions. “A lot of doctors will place judgment because the brain is already developed, a lot. Pretty much everything’s already developed.”
Planned Parenthood issued a statement the same day announcing the counselor had been fired, but also confirmed that it is willing to perform sex-selection abortions. Meanwhile, the abortion chain is opposing a bill set for a vote in the U.S. House of Representatives Thursday that would ban sex-selection abortions.
I thought the Democrats were claiming it was the Republicans who are waging a war on women.
This can’t be true!! Last night on Hannity, the liberal Tamara Holder was saying that it was just an isolated incident in Austin, by an un-trained, low-level Planned Parenthood worker, who has since been fired. So it was nothing to worry about.
They lie....like all Marxists and they redefine words so they become meaningless to control the “thinking” of the next generation.....like the stupid idea of “homosexual marriage”. Marxists redefine the word to make it meaningless and then proceed to saturate all media with the words and all school children.
This is like the Ministry of Truth-—where War is Peace....etc. Control all information and you get people believing in things which in 1950 they would be appalled at-—and laugh at-——. Abortion is killing—”gay” “marriage” is legalizing and normalizing sodomy which is always evil.
Government is suppose to promote the general welfare (see tagline) and abortion and “gay marriage” are as evil and unnatural as you can get....no “Natural Rights” for unnatural evil deeds.
All judges and Congressmen who support such irrational things need to be impeached. Just Law is defined and they took oaths to uphold the Constitution—the Supreme Law of the Land (although they have thrown it in the toiled. The grass roots have to rise up in local communities and force a “null and void” of unconstitutional laws at local level-—it can be done—judges have the power.

I have to disagree with you on the motive of normalizing and legalizing. I believe the motive to use the word “marriage” is to try to force priests and pastors into performing ceremonies, then having them arrested, fined, jailed, etc. upon refusal. The cascade effect would be loss of tax exempt status, closure of churches, then worshipping forced underground to become prosecutable hate crime.
You are correct-—but they have to change the “worldview” FIRST— to make the idea normal and not outrageous.

Things like sodomy do NOT promote the general welfare and they deny the natural rights of children to be raised by their biological parents which is the proven (through centuries and cross cultures) is the best, most efficient ways to educate and nurture healthy offspring.

Normalizing ideas such as beheadings and honor killings (although so utterly unnatural) is easily done if you have a captive audience of the school children forced into “public” schools—which is of the Prussian Design so that mass conditioning and brainwashing can happen—(especially since the unconstitutional concept of DOE).
This brainwashing and conditioning is researched by John Taylor Gatto, BK Eakman, Charlotte Iserbyt...and many others-—including CS Lewis who noticed the same thing in England curricula when they threw out Classical Education-—it became a brainwashing machine.

I know I am preaching to the choir! The war against Christianity started in earnest by Voltaire and has culminated with the Postmodernists (Marx, Nietzsche) and enveloped all of Europe—we saw the sick philosophy of Marx spread in the Athism/occultism of Lenin, Stalin, Hitler, Mao, Pot) .
That Marxism/socialism is smothering us with their Atheist/Darwinism/Pagan Earth worshippers. BUT to be successful they have to “kill God”—particularly Christianity. They have destroyed many of the Christian Churches-—even Bonhoeffer claimed that NYC had “religionless Christianity” in their most famous Riverside Church in 1931 (Funded by Satanist money-—John D.Rockefeller).
That Long March of Marxism is obvious with “homosexual “pastors, Liberation Theology, and women allowed pastors as if they have the same nature and role as men. Having to justify particular cases goes against the philosophy Planned Parenthood.
I have a question about Planned Parenthood. They get millions of dollars from the government, yet it is not allowed to be use for political promotions nor abortion (cough, cough). Yet Sandra Fluke claims birth control cost $3,000 a year. So what is PP doing with their millions?
