By openly supporting gay marriage, US President Barack Obama has offended many of the country's African-Americans, who number among his most loyal supporters. Several of the community's religious leaders have even called on their congregations to withhold the support that will be crucial to his re-election.

He certainly won’t “lose” the black vote. I’ll stop commenting at that point.
Obama could put on a white dress and marry Larry Sinclair with Michelle as his best man and his daughters as bridesmaids and not lose a single black vote.

I equate this with the catholic Bishops in a huff about forced Contraceptive Insurance.
The Catholic Bishops pushed Socialism about health care until it bit them.
The Black Bishops pushed Obama and now he has bit them.
Catholics will not fight for their Church and Blacks will not fight for their Bishops.
Both the Catholic Democrats and the Black Obama rank and file will vote for Obama anyway.
For blacks it’s not politics, it’s personal. He is them. If you call him a failure you are calling them failures and so you are a racist.

But..but..I saw an article that clearly showed (in an instant!) that majority of Blacks now support homosexuality.

The only way Obama will lose the black vote is if he switches parties.
Get REAL!! He could KILL another black man on the White House lawn and they would STILL vote for him!! COLOR is BLINDING!!
The only way Romney’s going to get more than 1% of the black vote is to pick a black VP. Then he might get 2%.

There is nothing that will convince the hard core democRats not to vote for Obozo or any rat.
They never allow religion, race, morality, patriotism or anything to stop them from voting for their beloved Rats.
Lose voters? Maybe a couple of percent - Maybe.
Lose support & enthusiasm? Yes
No more than it will cost hussein the Catholic vote. Expect next to zero change in voting.
I don’t think any of the black people who voted for him last time will vote for Romney, but I do believe a a % of them, maybe 1% will stay home because of this issue.
When skin color trumps everything else... then hell no... it will not cost him very much in the way of the black vote.

The only way Obama MIGHT lose the black vote is if he demands that they take responsibility for their own actions and demands that they get to work. Of course he would convert to Christianity before THAT ever happens.
