A pro-Walker Marine vet got into a few confrontations at Democrat Tom Barrett’s rally today with Bill Clinton in Wisconsin. The Franklin Center has video.
They couldn’t handle the truth. So, union cops were called in and dragged him out of the rally and arrested him. They didn’t like what he was saying.
The Marine is predicting a 10 point win for Scott Walker. I second that.

Those cops were fatties. They know it, its why they do what they do. The marine was pointing his finger, the fat ass warned him. The Fat ass pointed his finger, goading the marine to do it again, so he could grab the marines arm when he responded. Pigs take advantage of not playing by the same rules as civilians, good cops don’t take advantage.

Public service unions are an abomination against general society. It is a shame on those members who might be your relative or neighbor. The unions today are not what was needed in the early 1900s’ Today unions are only for power over other people, not for work pay equality. This is why unions gravitate to the communist order.

FDR was plain enough about his opposition to public employee unions. Simply put he did not want public services of any sort held hostage by striking employees. He remembered, for example, when it had been necessary for the Army to run the railroads during a railway worker strike. And Reagan didn’t put up with PATCO’s stupidity either. I imagine these cops are going to have some ‘splainin’ to do.

Your friend, needs a campaign to get him help. That is absolutely ludicrous and heartbreaking. Call the Wounded Warrior project or other NON-government groups now working for veterans. If he suffers from PTS, a miracle if not, he can also get in touch with many groups offering free counseling or therapies. They do need to be researched though. Tell him I am glad he came home.

I concurr. The continued “militarization” of law enforcement scares me.
I am for a strong military for national defense....but that is against foreign enemies of the state. Only in the most extreme of emergencies should our “military” be used against citizens. That is why we still have posse commitatus - hasn’t been repealed yet. Only National Guard may be used for law enforcement, and only when they are still under state control (title 32). The moment they become federalized (title 10), they cannot be used for law enforcement.
Unfortunately, the folks in DHS are turning law enforcement into military forces to circumvent this. Law enforcement should never be heavily armed....they don’t need tanks, artillery, etc. Heavily armed helos and killer drones are way beyond what police/law enforcement should have available to them. Any level of law enforcement should not have weaponry available to them that exceeds what is available to common citizens...that is one meaning, IMO, of what the 2nd Ammendment implies. The founders greatly feared a “standing army” because the history up to the American Revolution, showed that traditionally a “standing military” was used to suppress citizens not just fight wars abroad. Fortunately, so far in our history, although the need for a “standing army” has become necessary, we have kept them from being used against citizens. The military exists to defend citizens from foreign threats. However, with the continued militarization of “law enforcement” (especially federal) we are in danger of a “standing army” (so feared by the founders) becoming a reality. Except they are called “law enforcement.”
I’m not one to be paranoid about law enforcement, and I respect the profession and the difficulty of what they must do. However, they do not need to become a “military force” at any level. If a “military force” is needed domestically, except for small SWAT and HRTs, it should remain the National Guard in a title 32 status. Even the small SWAT and HRTs have been abused.
These people are just a cut above animals (or maybe I’m insulting animals).
Hence they don’t care where the money comes from.
They work for all these government fiefdoms and are very well taken care of by the government ruling class.
They are the modern era, "Kings men."

PATCO members were explicitly forbidden by law to strike, giving Reagan no choice, he being a rational man and keenly aware of his responsibility in re public safety. I do not know whether gov’t employee unions in general are forbidden to strike, not that that would necessarily restrain them.
