Do you know any repentant Obama voters?

Posted on 06/02/2012 8:26:18 AM PDT by MNDude

I know a guy who voted for Obama because he said "you have to admit, we really need change." Now he claims he's the worst President ever and he can't wait to vote against him (although I guess his wife didn't let him sleep with her for a month after voting Obama)

I knew several senior citizens who voted for Obama out of anger at Bush who now hate Obama because of the ObamaCare thing.

Any of you know any repentant Obama voters? Anyone ever heard of a McCain voter now supporting Obama?

...her husband supports socialism because that’s the essence of the Bible...

That may be what he has been taught by Liberals and believes, but it is manifestly untrue and anybody who studies it can easily see otherwise.

The Bible is all about personal responsibility and accountability. The call for individual thrift, diligence, hard work, and property ownership are legion. The only place I can see where socialism might be inferred is in the early Church in Jerusalem - and that was for a very particular time, place, season, and reason. It only lasted a very short time.

I have a friend who’s the manager of a busy diner. He sometimes appears to be all things to all people, since he knows chatting with everyone is good for business. But he privately told me that many Obama-voting customers have switched their loyalties. This is in a very liberal neighborhood.

When I see my family next time, I am going to try to be the good salesperson who steps back and leaves a lot of space for the customer to make up his mind. I have observed that that is a good way to close the deal, rather than pressure and aggression when you sense that agreement is near.

Repentant would be racist. Unhappy, but then again, its still the GOP and Bush’s fault.

My girlfriend voted for Obama but she will vote GOP this fall.

We met after the 2008 election. She had always voted ‘Rat and didn’t really understand politics.

She is honest and moral and is a small business owner. She is not some environmentalist or feminist wacko.

But she has always lived in the Bay Area and been surrounded by leftist nonsense and previously just kind of went along in a moderate way.

Now she sees things quite differently and talks with her girlfriends about how leftism ruins everything.

Chipping away.

Yes, two wacky lib acquaintances have now seen the error of their ways.

However, I heard that a wacky ex-coworker says he needs another chance. Another sat in my livingroom whining "but he's blaaaaaack and he caaaaaares about people and we don't need anymore old white men!!!!!!" It was all I could do not to grab him up and kick is sorry behind out the door though I did explain to him how the cow ate the cabbage.

Anyone ever heard of a McCain voter now supporting Obama?

No, not one.

I really don't see how he can win an honest election. "Honest" being the operative word.

In fact I have seen plenty of Obama 2012 bumperstickers and only one Romney sticker.

I don't expect to ever see conservative or GOP bumper stickers in 'Rat areas (and few in any areas).

The reason the leftists embrace destructive criminals like the OWS types is to intimidate decent people from expressing their views.

I heard one man say he was “coming out of the closet against Obama” - like it took a great deal of courage to say he was against Obama this time. Is there some reason disappointed voters are hesitant to speak their minds?

They don't want to look stupid for having bought into the hype to begin with.

They don't want to be called racist.

They don't want to be verbally abused or physically attacked by leftist scum.

I live in a heavily Democrat stronghold. Very difficult to find conservatives around here.

There are a few old friends who distanced themselves from me after Obama came to power. These were holdovers from my hippie days. I grew up. They didn’t.

As for the ones who remain, as long as we don’t talk politics, we get along fine.

They are no longer fooled by spin, it is encouraging and refreshing indeed.

I know a lot of leftists. None will vote GOP and most will probably go ahead and vote Obama.

But none of them, not a one, is buying Obama's crap any more.

Everybody knows the guy is full of it.

There are offices where people have posted shrines to BO. Think those are being taken down now?

Socialism is precisely contrary to the Bible.

We Christian conservatives need to do a better job of getting this message out.

The one friend who volunteered for the inauguration — she is active in her church. Sings in the choir, chairs committees, the whole nine yards. I would have thought she would be uncomfortable at least with Obama’s endorsement of gay marriage. No. I don't belong to any organized faith, but I'm more outraged than she is. I guess she so believes the lies, she will close her eyes to the depravity.

She even asked if she had to vote for him come November. I told her no.

Why is she even asking you if she "has to" vote for BO, or anyone else, for that matter? Isn't she a grown-up free to vote for anyone she wants? Who brainwashed this poor woman, the pastor at her church?

I know of one who has been unemployed so long he has helped lower the unemployment numbers by no longer being a statistic.

He voted 0dumbass ‘08 and now regrets it.
