theoretically.
I would have loved to have seen those old veterans, God bless them.
I didn’t know there would be more coverage on Tuesday. Thanks for the tip!
We may be called a Republic, but we’re organized like an 18th century Monarchy, with the elected POTUS playing the role of the Supreme Monarch, and being regarded as such by the populace and the media. Read the article posted alongside about Obama’s failures, written as if those failures were his alone, and by golly, they are, because our Republican (of the Republic, that is) Monarch doesn’t have to listen to anyone, and this one certainly doesn’t.
We're in bigger trouble than even I thought.
As an American citizen, I am outraged that Her Majesty didn’t invite our leader to the party.
We got a mob of them at the moment. Keep up the good work. There is nothing to worship here and they can go to the BBC forum if they want political correctness for deary queenbird. :)
And I cant stand people who are so pitifully ignorant about other countries (and no, I am no royalist either).
Overlords?. Pathetic, hysterical drivel.
96% of the UK population is NOT Muslim. 4% is and they are in charge now, really?. Name me a Muslim in a prominent British role. You cant, because they dont exist.
YOU have a man with Muslim background as President. Our PM is a white, upper class Etonian of English-Scots-Welsh-Jewish background whose wife is minor aristocracy.
Thats fine, just remember what you have been saying when you whine about Limeys and Yooros having a pop at America and Americans.
Who dont you recognise?.
I will fill you in on them.
Keep in mind I’m an old lady.
The seven I never even heard of are Alfie Boe,Jools Holland,Jessie J,JLS,Lang Lang,Madness, and Ed Sheeran.
The Queen probably never heard of them either.
Alfie Boe is a popular classical/opera singer.
Jools Holland is a famous pianist/tv music host in the UK.
Jessie J is a hip new pop singer.
JLS are a British ‘boyband’, huge in the UK.
Lang Lang is a classical pianist.
Ed Sheeran is a relatively new, but acclaimed singer-songwriter.
Madness?. Every British person knows and loves Madness. They are a legendary pop band from the 80’s, who have had dozens of British hits since 1978. Never quite as successful in the US, they are household names here.
Listen to their stuff if you can. I have been a fan for over 30 years, they have made some classic pop records and are famous for their live concerts and their ‘Nutty Boy’ stage showmanship. Their music is heavily influenced by reggae and ‘ska’ music from the 60’s and 70’s. And they are still going strong. Madness are great, love em and so does most of the UK.
The Queen will certainly know Jools Holland, Alfie Boe and Madness.

You are so kind.
This is the first chance I’ve had to check FR today.
I love the U.K.,especially Scotland.
One of the nicest evenings of my life was in Edinburgh attending The Tattoo at The Castle.
Too late for me to check these out tonight but I know what I’ll be doing tomorrow.
Such thoughtfulness——and such a knowledge of music.
Thank you so much.
