Wanggaard not conceding, not yet asking for recount... unofficial Lehman win(To Deny Dem Cheats-WI)

RACINE - The campaign for Racine Republican State Senator Van Wanggaard has not conceded victory to Democrat John Lehman in a recall election, but has said they are not yet asking for a recount.

“We know that there are a number of outstanding absentee ballots, voting irregularities, and that there were problems across the county in the unofficial tally of ballots,” said Wanggaard in a statement.

“People across the state and country have asked that I immediately ask for a recount. However, we all know that the best decisions are made when well-rested and after consideration of all options.”

Lehman unofficially won the election by less than two percentage points on Tuesday night, and has declared victory.

If that result is made official, the State Senate would then have a 17-16 Democratic majority.

"The county board of canvass will go through all of that and certify the results to the state," Racine County Clerk Wendy Christiansen told TODAY'S TMJ4's Todd Hicks.

“We will closely monitor the canvass of votes with legal representation. We will evaluate our options regarding recounts following the official count of ballots.," said Wanggaard.

"800 votes is enough to survive...I'll be unhappy if they put us through that," said Lehman to Hicks.

It's as good a bet as betting that the Earth orbits the Sun.

I hope Republican lawyers, voting experts investigate this matter.

It's a really odd result.

Wanggaard and Lehman ran against each other in 2010, too.

Statewide turnout was up 13%. In this district, turnout was up 17%.

Statewide, Walker improved his total number of votes by 14% while Barrett was up 12% in total votes from last time.

In this race, however, Wanggaard's total votes were up 11% while Lehman's were up 25%.

That's really dramatic - an enormous discrepancy.

Either Wanggaard did something to alienate voters radically or something fishy went on.

Good sense dictates that there be a recount. It is too close..

“...alienate voters radically or something fishy went on.”

I’m betting on *fishy*.

Yes they were discussing this discrepancy on the Vicky McKenna Radio show in Milwaukee. Supposedly some seen many vehicles with IL license plates and some lax screening at some Racine polling places. Vicky thinks the Rats stole it.

800 votes is only 15 busloads of union thugs from Chicago.

Get off work from union job in Chicago at 4 pm
Get on the bus to Racine
Register on the day of voting (as is allowed in WI)
Don’t have to show ID (as is allowed in WI)
Vote for Lehman
Get on the bus to Chicago
Be back home in time for supper: beers and deep dish pizza at the union hall.

At best a short term victory for the dems. Wisconsin legislature not in session until next January,2013, In the meantime the November 2012 elections will be taking place with new redistricting which favors Republicans. Republicans feel they will pick up 2 Republican Senate seats which will put them back into majority

Drag the thing out as long as it can possibly be dragged out, just like the Lefties do.

The journey is the reward.

From Detroit to Racine, you travel right through Chicago.

Racine County lagged far behind even Milwaukee in coming up with the numbers last night. Seems suspicious just on the face of it.

Looked at the repository of voter fraud articles from 2006: WI had major problem then, were trying to get voter ID then, ....SIX years later the rats are still stealing elections.....Insanity: Is to continue the same behavior for six years.

Vicki McKenna also talked to someone who claimed that they were accepting water bills addressed to OCCUPANT as evidence of residency for same day registration.

It’s going to take a ward-by-ward analysis of Racine city proper to figure out where the buses went. Plan to do it later this evening.

Well, Racine is a 90 minute drive from Chicago and the most obvious place to bus in ringers for same-day registration.

You could get many Chicagoans to sign up to travel to Racine, unlike the other three races that were 4 to 6 hours away from the Chicago area.

The GOP should drag it out as long as possible to deny the Rats taking control of the chamber. We need to treat it like a blood sport just like the Rats do.

You have made the key point, thanks.

Folks this is a nothing victory, do not let your heart be troubled. Having the majority of a body that is not in session means what, exactly?

‘treat this like a blood sport like the Rats’...the absolute truth...the best thing to top off the victories last night would be to nail the Left for voter fraud on this one.

Yes the senate is not in session until after the next election—but only half of the senate is up in 2012, and this seat is not in that half. This seat will, in the least, mean a bigger majority.
