President Obama, in Los Angeles for a fundraiser, offered this observation on his wife's exercise routine, via the pool report:
“Michelle outdoes me in pushups as well,” he said, after saying that she’s taken some criticism on her technique “because she doesn’t go all the way down” – a line that he let hang, naughtily, provoking laughter.......

Larry allegedly went all the way down. The working title of Larry’s new book is supposedly “One Man Standing”, which implies that the other man is on his knees.

All that being said, this is beyond reprehensible. Who speaks of their wife this way-especially in public? What an arrogant, classless, piece of garbage.

What is wrong with what he said? When I read it I thought about what makes pushups hard (proper form) and not some sexual innuendo. I hate this sort of nit-picking. The guy was talking about pushups not sex.
The greater point is obama, the metrosexual, is saying his wife can do more pushups than he can which is pathetic given that michelle is overweight. That is what I picked up on.
What a despicable thing to say about your wife in a public forum. I didn’t think I could feel any more animus towards the golfer-in-chief - and here he says something so vile.
Doesn’t say much about the audience either.

No matter what you think of the way President Bush executed his presidency, there is no comparison between the two as just MEN.
I don’t care for either of them...but she is the mother of his beautiful children. Any man who respects his wife and kids would not speak this way. I just lost the respect I had for the Obama’s seemingly decent marriage.
Maybe he could show her how?

Imagine someone trying out this “material” at your backyard barbecue.
The embarrassed glances among your friends and neighbors. The averted eyes. The sidelong looks to confirm, hopefully, that the kids in the pool were out of earshot. The guy with the big hearty voice trying to cover by offering to go get more ice...
This jaw-dropping incident should be a campaign issue till November. Don’t let them bury it. Bring it up on blog comments, in posts to newspaper editors, and anytime a pollster or reporter asks about the election.
