It does sound to me like Corey has given herself a financial stake in the case and thus a conflict of interest.

In today’s Amerika, none of this matters. If the state wants you, there’s nothing you can do.

Dershowitz woke up one morning, looked in the mirror - and decided he had had it up to here with evil... Evil tried to slink away but Dershowitz wasn’t gonna let that happen... and so in a land far far away our story begins...

I don’t know what Florida’s rules of ethics are, but in several states, a prosecutor who gains a financial stake in a case, through book rights or whatever, must disclose that fact and withdraw as counsel. A different special prosecutor needs to be appointed.

Corey just picked a big fight with someone who buys ink by the barrel - and data by the terabyte.

Oh yeah, and he’s a damn good lawyer. Don’t always agree with him (esp in the past), but there’s no questioning his legal abilities.

My interpretation: Dersh is giving “fair warning” before filing a devestating bar complaint against Corey. Just a hunch.

If Zimmerman’s counsel does not hop right on top of this, he is amiss.

“she threatened to sue Harvard Law School, to try to get me disciplined by the Bar Association and to file charges against me for libel and slander.”

Well, we’ll never see this in the media. Dersh can kiss his tv-appearance fees goodbye!

Is Angela Corey trying to Marissa Alexander George Zimmerman. Note the similarity of the cases.
