The search for beauty has turned mighty ugly in the aftermath of the Miss USA 2012 pageant.
First, Miss Pennsylvania, Sheena Monnin, claimed the Sunday outcome was rigged and gave up her state crown in protest. Then, pageant officials said Monnin -- who failed to make the top 15 -- had really quit because she opposed competing against transgender contestants, who were allowed into the pageant for the first time this year.
Enter Donald Trump, the co-owner of the Miss USA and Miss Universe Pageant, who denied Monnin's allegations and took a not-so-veiled stab at her appearance during an interview Wednesday on "Good Morning America." "If you look at her ... you'd understand why she's not in the top 15," Trump told George Stephanopoulos as a big screen showed pageant contestants strutting across a Las Vegas stage, blowing kisses to the crowd as they sashayed in bikinis and sparkling evening gowns.
"We're going to be suing her," Trump added.
"You're gonna sue her?" Stephanopoulos replied incredulously.
"Yeah, we're gonna sue her," Trump said, accusing Monnin, 27, of making false accusations of pageant-fixing that were insulting not only to the pageant, but to its judges, auditors and everyone else involved in the event. He added that Monnin suffers from "loser's remorse."

I like curves. A lady needs to be soft in the right places.
Nothing worse than visible bones. Some of them looked plain anorexic IMO.
If you really look at him Trump sort of has that transgendered look.
I like skinnies and petites. You can have all the fatties. ;-D
Although he has worked closely with Sheena Monnin since she won the Miss Pennsylvania USA title in December, Randy Sanders, director of the states Miss USA pageant, says he cant support her recent allegations against the organization that crowned her.
I found her to always be a very thoughtful person, he said Wednesday. I was a bit surprised that she announced so early after the conclusion of the pageant her resignation. I wish her well, but I cannot agree with her reasoning.
Monnin, of Cranberry, made headlines this week when she accused the Miss USA pageant, which aired Sunday, of being rigged.
She also called the organization fraudulent, lacking in morals and trashy.
After 10 years of competing in a pageant system I once believed in, I now completely and irrevocably separate myself in every way and on every level from the Miss Universe Organization, she said.
It was on Facebook that Monnin, who describes her political views as “conservative,” made her first shocking allegations against the Miss USA organization.
In two separate statements, which have since disappeared, Monnin claimed a fellow contestant in Sundays competition saw a list of the top five women in the pageant before judging began on the show.
She also called the organization fraudulent, lacking in morals and trashy.
The Miss Universe Organizationwhich runs the Miss USA competitionquickly denounced Monnins allegations as false. In a statement to Cranberry Patch, the organization included an email Monnin sent to Sanders that said she was resigning because she did not agree with the organization’s decision to admit transgendered contestants.
Sanders confirmed Monnin sent him her resignation early Monday morningless than 24 hours after the pageant ended with Miss Rhode Island, Olivia Culpo, being crowned the winner.
As for who will fill Monnins high heels, Sanders didnt have an asnwer.
Valerie Compeggie, the first runner up in the Miss USA Pennsylvania 2012 competition, already has turned down the opportunity to serve out the rest of Monnins reign because it would disqualify her from competing in next years Miss USA pageant, Sanders said.
The state director said he also has approached the second and third runners up in the Miss Pennsylvania 2012 contest, but added there is a strong possibly the position will remain vacant.
I like petites too, but have to draw the line at skinnies, ‘cuz I know a skinny girl doesn’t know how to cook a good dinner :P’’’’
