I’m not sure California is a wise choice. The battle should move to a state we know we can win so we can build momentum.
“The battle should move to a state we know we can win so we can build momentum.”
I don’t know if it would be a guaranteed win here in WA, but I’d sure like to see it tried.
You can’t stop an idea who’s time has come. The unions have had a direct line to the public treasury for far too long!
Witness the votes in San Diego and San Jose, The American Tax Payer is done supporting these communist organization dressed up in blue collar workingman’s cloths. Public sector unions should be abolished and recognized for what they are, plunder of the Tax Payer!
Enough of this horse hockey!
WE don't decide the location, the local voters do!
Ah yes, let’s just write off those 50 plus electoral votes. Lets not contest the state or do anything that might cause folks to be able to honestly evaluate Conservatism vs Liberalism.
That has worked so well for us. We start off every presidential election year 50 plus electoral votes in the hole. What a great master plan. /s
The problem with avoiding election year issues and other major issues, in California, is that the time when the issues should be most crystal clear and covered at an elevated level, the Republican party takes a pass on the state.
How do we as an interest group expect to get the word out, when we take a pass when we have the megaphone?
Californians just voted down same sex marriage, and yet folks are convinced no Conservative issues can pass in the state. That’s a major fallacy, that some on our side constantly use to defeat our cause.
California is in play. Deal with it...
The union pension abuses in California are FAR worse than in Wisconsin and the public is fed up with it. So, it’s a winning issue. Look at San Jose (liberal) and San Diego (conservative, sort of). Both passed by behemoth margins major cuts in benefits for municipal employeess. The press in California has for years and years contained one story after another of outrageous benefits paid to retirees from municipalities, so the public is better informed on this issue. I say go for it!
Wherever the battle is, that’s often where we need to be. This particular battle may be indicative of a lot of DINOs living in Cali’s political closet (as it were), but regardless, it’s the manufactured-majority Demwit party in Cali which will take one in the ass — win, lose, or draw.
