WASHINGTON — Attorney General Eric Holder defended his department’s challenges to state’s voter ID laws on Monday, alleging that “those on all sides of this debate have acknowledged that in-person voting fraud is uncommon.”

Holder spoke at the League of Women Voters conference where he challenged those who believe that “easing registration hurdles will only lead to voter fraud.”

“those on all sides of this debate have acknowledged that in-person voting fraud is uncommon.”

Sure—like everyone knows that the private sector is doing fine. Where are these humanoids living?

The left are dishonest and cheat. The fight they are putting up proves it, otherwise there is nothing to lose in going along.

Holder on the wrong side of a debate.

Again.

Between supplying firearms to Mexican drug cartels and arguing for electoral corruption, it’s surprising he has any time for his job.

Or does he?

well, that’s good to know... otherwise, in all those states where ID checks are not required, people could be walking in early morning to vote for the liberals in the area

of course the liberals might be upset later on in the day, as libs tend to vote late, when they find out they cannot vote ‘again’

What about absentee vote fraud, hmmm?

That's a bigger issue. Nursing home staff voting for their inmates. Students voting from parents' home, plus off-campus residence, plus voting in-person on campus. Snowbirds voting from both residences. Etc.

The ‘Rats own get-out-the-vote propaganda says one vote can change an election. If that’s true then any fraud at all is too much.

Another objection to absentee ballots is that they facilitate vote buying. Just bring your ballot to your local "community activist", he verifies it's filled in correctly, you get a bottle of booze, he mails it in for you.

Photo ID to vote in person - no exceptions.

Absentee ballots should be as difficult to get as a concealed carry permit in New York City.

Vote fraud should be a capital offense.

The ONLY reason to oppose voter ID is to AID AND ABET VOTE FRAUD.

Or, in the phrase the 'Rats made "famous" in 2000, to "let every vote count" (regardless of who casts it).

Holder is sleazeball who has done his best to to politicize what remains of what was once the best legal system in the world, one of the foundations of which is fair elections.

Of course, this is to be expected when you have a man in the White House who likely doesn't meet the constitutional eligibility requirements for the office he obtained.

NO RESPECT FOR THE RULE OF LAW has been the hallmark of the current administration!!!

Vote fraud should be a capital offense.

Wouldn't go quite that far, but it should be a felony and the law must be enforced.

Some other suggestions to tamp down on voting fraud:

Repeal Clinton's "Motor Voter" law.

No early voting!!!

No same-day registrations.

A few fraudulent votes can decide a close contest.

A few fraudulent votes can decide a close contest.

Case in point: Minnesota Senate race, Coleman vs. Franken, 2008. The fraud there was perpetrated during the recounts, aided and abetted by the 'Rat Secretary of State.

Holder has also been fighting states trying to purge voter rolls of felons and the dead.(as required be the Voting Rights Act)

He's in litigation now against Florida, which is trying to clean up the voter rolls in Miami and environs, IIRC. Unfortunately, Holder and co. will likely prevent Florida from purging ineligibles before the coming presidential election.

Could be wrong, but the take here is that Zero will lose Florida to Romney regardless.

Then there was FL 2000. Dems were sure they had that state, as the dead voters and their surrogate lever pullers in the lower three counties were all primed and ready to go. But Elian happened, and the Pissed-off Cubans voting Republican just narrowly edged out the dead voters. They tried their best to invent voters who never were during the re-count, but the numbers simply weren’t there, and the Republican observers had their eyes wide open, thereby narrowly keeping the state red.
