We've gone from "hope and change" to hoping blaming Bush will work. As Joe Scarborough said: at least Mika Brzezinski's honest about it. Asked whether she believed that President Obama's attempt to continue to blame George W. Bush for the country's economic woes will work as a campaign strategy, a seemingly dispirited Mika Brzezinski replied: "well, I'm hopin'". Scarborough burst into laughter.
The Morning Joe panel was responding to a clip of President Obama from yesterday in which he analogized Republicans to people who had ordered an expensive restaurant meal, left just as Obama was sitting down to dinner, and then finding himself accused of running up the tab.
Watch Mika's forlorn response. Looks like we've gone from "hope and change" to Dems listlessly hoping that a pass-the-buck, blame-the-other-guy strategy might work for President Obama. After playing the clip of President Obama's restaurant analogy, Willie Geist and Mike Barnicle expressed skepticism that it would be a successful campaign strategy for PBO.
"Hope-n-Change!" has become "fear, Envy, HATE!". Meanwhile, the SMARTEST PRESIDENT, EVAH!, can't figure his way out of a paper bag
She, unfortunately, reinforces the stereotypical cliche about ‘blondes’.
Tim Pawlenty was on this morning and he said that while President Obama inherited a tough economy, hes the president, and that were not going to re-elect him because he got a “participation ribbon”.
You actually have to do something.
Hes the “participation-ribbon” president.
Obama's barber flies from Chicago twice a month to cut his hair.
Is it politically incorrect to use the term “dumb pollack” here on Free Republic?
Just askin’.
To cut his hair???!!!! WHAT hair????!!!!!
and they laughed at Edwards for his expensive hair cuts ,Obama has him beat LOL
Mika gets on my last nerve. I love Morning Joe. I watch it every morning and am a huge fan of Joe’s. And I loved it when they had Barnicle and Buchanan on together. I do miss Buchanan. They have the best panel of guests on television. But everytime Mika talks, all I can think is .....vapid. Vapid...insipid. I was raised to be a lady and have never in my life hit anyone. But I do want to hit Mika in the face with a shovel. This is just between you and I. Please do not tell anyone I said that. I know how bad it sounds...what a silly goose she is....Vapid I tell you! She drives me crazy. I want to pound my face on asphalt when she talks. Could I make my feelings more clear?
Why can’t they pick on Woodrow Wilson and blame him.
Blame Bush is so old.
Appropos of nothing, but I have a very good friend who had Brezinski at Columbia and has proceeded to work for the Agency, still active, who tells me that Brezinski is the most intelligent person he’s ever met.
Actually, he's still on strike...
That’s probably true. The other two I mentioned are no slouches, either. I got along real well with General Haig, if a Spec/5 can be said to have a friendship with a full general. Worked for him later after the WH. His wife was a very nice, classy lady. Harold Brown is another very smart guy.
I thought that at his age in that photo, he was Barry Soetoro. Geez...I’m so confused!
She needs to be force-fed about 275 of those Burger King bacon sundaes.
What Policy Does Obama NOT Agree With That Caused The Economic Collapse?
Always ask that question to Obama and Obama fans. President Bush and John McCain warned (multiple times) that the Housing Lending Policies would lead to our present economic conditions.
Meanwhile Obama was in Chicago suing banks to lower lending standards and voting for more government spending with Nancy Pelosi. Obama did not ‘inherit’ anything. This was his party’s design and results. Don’t let him, and the Dems off the hook (again).
are they in a bathroom ?
