Most Israelis think Romney would be 'friendlier' By HERB KEINON06/15/2012 01:14Survey finds majority of Israelis think Obama is "friendly" toward Israel but are warmer toward the Republican candidate.
Why is it that Jews cling to Obama after he has turned his back on they time after time after time after time......?
Is it because Liberal (Jews) are so weak minded that they "still' cannot see that Obama would (will?) lead them to the slaughter if allowed to do so?
Doesn’t matter what the Israeli Jews think about either candidate. Problem is, the liberal American Jews are the ones voting.
The survey commissioned by the Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies, the Bar-Ilan University Center for International Communication and the Anti-Defamation League found that while 51 percent of Israeli Jews believe Obama is friendly or very friendly toward Israel, more people think the expected Republican presidential candidate, Mitt Romney, would better promote Israels interests.
Asked how they would describe Obamas attitude toward Israel, 45% of the respondents characterized him as friendly and 6% as very friendly. Thirty-two percent described the president as neutral, 12% as unfriendly and 3% as very unfriendly.
When detailed questions were asked, a picture emerged of a public that has considerable questions about the presidents Middle East policies.
For instance, when asked whether Romney or Obama would better promote Israels interests, 29% said Romney and 22% said Obama. Perhaps most telling was that while Obama had been in office for more than three years, 49% said they did not know or would not answer the question.
Thirty percent of the respondents said US-Israeli ties would improve under a Romney presidency, 26% said they would remain the same and only 6% said they would get worse.
I've always thought it is, in part, because many Jews consider Republicanism and conservatism as right wing, and equate right wing (albeit erroneously) with Nazism. With some their hatred of conservatism is virulent.I knew a rabbi (perhaps self-styled) who avowed that he would like to grind a broken glass into Rush Limbaugh's forehead.I'm sure he (the rabbi) never listened to him.
Here is a review of it from The Wall Street Journal.
I daresay that Rudolf Hess or David Duke would be friendlier to Israel than Mr. Obama. That’s not a very high hurdle.
