Police even arrested a 52-year-old man under suspicion of assault, but he was cleared after a search of his truck turned up zero evidence.
Jeez, the cops must've grabbed the first older guy driving a beat up blue pickup truck, like that's hard to find in Montana. Whoops!

If Obama had a hitchhiking son....

I can’t see how they avoid giving the hitchhiker at least ninety days in the local jail. Maybe he’ll write a book...”Kindness in An American Jail”.
The interesting thing here...is that a guy was hitchhiking across America....depending on kindness...and carrying a pistol the whole way. That kinda makes you pause and wonder what else besides kindness that he was expecting.
Oh, I’m just wondering...what kind of worthless liberal arts degree does the guy have? Anyone know that answer?

Sounds like the guy was a writer for the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy and somebody tried to read him poetry.

So does the guy who was falsely arrested have a cause of action against the hitchhiker or only against the police, I wonder?

Nobody in Montana would waste a bullet on a hitchhiker when you’ve already burned the gas to get the momentum in your pickup to just run him over.

Creative; albeit, desperate and dishonest book promo. He can forget about the book; who would read, believe; or care.
Bigger question; 'who would publish'?
