The primary is June 26 and we badly need for Utah conservatives to go all out for Liljenquist. The TEA Party caucus isn’t big enough on Capitol Hill, espeically in the Senate.
I am pretty sure that even if UT were sick of Hatch it wouldn’t support someone with such an unusual surname, though occassionally such names are not a liability. People are so conventional that they prefer stick with their familiar (liberal) names.
If I was in Utah, I’d hold my house for Liljenquist (the best of two flawed candiates), although Impy’s probably right that Liljenquist’s chances are DOA after he came out in favor of raising taxes.
