Prepare to see a disturbing video of young people at their worst. This clip of middle schoolers allegedly abusing a bus monitor is so disgusting, so bothersome that it will leave many wondering what has gone awry in our society. Of course, it is merely one of the many tragic, anecdotal instances of human cruelty that we so often see today. The unbelievable clip is painful to watch, as it shows alleged students from Greece Athena Middle School in Rochester, New York (my hometown) take their abuse to horrific levels.
The woman purportedly shown in the video, Karen Huff Klein, 68, is victimized incessantly, as students spew insults and obscenities at her. Throughout the clip, the children can be heard in the background calling her “fat,” threatening her and making fun of her hairstyle, among other sentiments. Astonishingly, the abuse continues for more than 10 minutes.
Of course, this description is mild when compared to hearing the actual words used in the clip. As can be viewed and heard above, the children told Klein that she looks like a troll and that she should “shut the f**k up” when she tried to defend herself.
Here‘s a selection of some of the other grotesque comments that were thrown Klein’s way in the first minute of the clip:
“Fat ass.”
“Oh my God, you’re so fat.”
“You take up like the whole entire seat.”
“Put those glasses back on. I can’t stand looking at your face.”
When the woman tells the kids that she is crying (presumably as a result of their attacks) they refuse to relent. In fact, one kid can be heard saying that she’s shedding tears because “she probably misses her box of Twinkies.” Here’s more:
“You have refluxes of an elephant,” another child can be heard saying.
“She‘s going to pick out which kid she’s going to rape next,” another quipped.
“She’s going to die of diabetes, because she’s so damn fat,” said another.
At moments, the youths even poked and attempted to touch the woman, as she sat, for the most part quietly, and allowed their abuse to continue.
“If I stabbed you in the stomach, my knife would go through you like butter because it’s all f**king water,” another kid said.
Among the comment that hurt the most, Klein told WHAM-TV that one child’s statement that she is so ugly that her “kids should kill themselves” was particularly hurtful. Her son committed suicide 10 years ago.
It is disturbing; families are the building block of any society, and American families are disappearing and being replaced by others from different cultures. As a conservative I don’t particularly mind, but some of these cultures will never assimilate into what we used to call “the American way”. I’m glad that while my children attend schools with large numbers of foreigners, most of their friends (100% of the foreigners) have intact families.
Some Americans use the fact that they’d be dropping off their children like that as a reason to simply never have any; that just makes the demographic problem worse.
Now that their names are up on the YouTube video(if those are actually their real names), this sick act will be visible to any potential employer or parole officer. Good luck children!

Meanwhile, Klein, of Rochester, has received more than a quarter-million dollars in online donations in hopes that the grandmother of eight will take a “vacation of a lifetime,” according to fundraising site Indiegogo.com. As of midday Thursday, more than $270,209 had been received for Klein and the video had been viewed on YouTube more than 1.6 million times.
I just wonder how many years we have left as a nation....
Indeed! May God save our nation. Not only do we abort our nation's children, if they manage to survive the womb, we send them into godless, socialist schools that attempt to abort their souls and stuff them with a non-stop godless worldview.
Now that our government's socialist-entitlment schools have been utterly godless since the mid-60s why are we surprised that grandparents and parents haven't a clue about child discipline, and illegitimacy is zooming even among whites? The communists, especially Bill Ayers, are cheering!
One of the goals of the communist party was destruction of the family. Well!....Government schooling with great input from Dewey has been working hard at this for at least a century.
Compulsory and socialist-entitlement schooling was a progressive idea beginning in the mid-1800s. Progressives have always controlled curriculum development and teacher training. Dewey is one of the most famous.
By the way, Bill Ayers didn't get where he was without a LOT of communist and hard core socialist greasing the way. His mentors were from my father's generation, born 1913.
Communist Goals:
17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers’ associations. Put the party line in textbooks.
26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as “normal, natural, healthy.” ( Now common in the government schools..and...homosexuals have already moved into positions of authority and influence hiring of teachers.)
28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of “separation of church and state.” ( Children's most awake and alert hours are now spent in an utterly godless environment and even their homework is completely godless in its worldview.)
31) Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of the “big picture.” Give more emphasis to Russian history since the Communists took over. ( Now rampant in government schools across the nation.)
29. Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis. ( Yep! We see many articles about how in our government schools the flag is not displayed, the pledge not said, and the Constitution ignored or taught that it is a “living document”.
30. Discredit the American Founding Fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the “common man.” ( Again, we see articles here on Free Republic where Rosa Parks gets three pages and the Founding Father either ignored or given a sentence or two.)
39. Dominate the psychiatric profession and use mental health laws as a means of gaining coercive control over those who oppose Communist goals. ( And...These social workers, guidance counselors, and psychologists are found in the government schools across the nation. )
40. Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce. Bingo! with sex ed, promotion of homosexuality as normal, hiring of gays, performances of “Vagina Monologues” etc.)
41. Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents. Attribute prejudices, mental blocks and retarding of children to suppressive influence of parents. ( Has anyone noticed the expansion of free meals to now include dinner as well as breakfast, and the push for socialist-entitlment after school programs and now PreK for kids barely out of diapers.)
42. Create the impression that violence and insurrection are legitimate aspects of the American tradition; that students and special-interest groups should rise up and use [”]united force[”] to solve economic, political or social problems. ( We have had numerous articles her on Free Republic of government K-12 teachers putting children on prison gang buses ( oops! “school” buses) to attend rallies and protests for socialist causes.)
Each of the people which I have pinged commented on the parenting of these youngsters.
While there are many contributing factors, our government's socialist-entitlement schooling has been a major contributing factor in the disintegration of the American family. There is a reason that Bill Ayers ( a terrorist and open communist) chose education for his career. And...He had lots of mentoring help to get to his position from other educators of my father's generation ( born 1913.)
Obviously, this communist destruction of our culture has been going on for a more than a century, but we are now seeing the full-blown infection.
When schools are utterly and completely godless since the 60s and we now have grandparents, parents, and even great parents who are graduates of these schools, what do we expect?
Oh...And our government's socialist-schools before the 60s haven't been that great, at best they merely nodded to God. My grandmother (born 1894) attended secular government schools that merely winked at God on occasion. And... Before her children were fed a generic and lukewarm Protestantism. ( What does Christ do with the lukewarm? He spits them out of His mouth!)
I agree with all the above! The effort of Communism has definitely made a huge crater in our school system and country. I don’t like what I feel is coming our way. God Have Mercy on Our Country!
Not only that...the 'organization' gets everybody to PAY them for the privilege. Sweet. (In Red Hampshire, people pay $5 to 10,000 in property taxes annually so kids can learn to say 'F*** you.')
Huh? Many of the homeschool mothers I know DO have jobs outside the home - I know nurses, an engineer, a custodian, a real estate agent, many businessowners, retail store employees, a computer programmer, librarians, etc., who are all homeschool moms. I also know single and/or divorced mothers homeschooling. And many of the other mothers had careers before choosing to stay at home - including former public school teachers I've met who are homeschool moms. Even when we don't earn an income outside the home, we still work - we just don't receive a paycheck for what we do.

PS Poor parenting is found among both wealthy and poor parents. May I suggest you blame the faulty premises of Dewey and Mann if you are looking for a source to blame for the pooblik skool collective’s sorry state, and their ill prepared products.

Most of you have seen this before, but I repeat it here for those who haven’t and to reinforce the concepts for those who have.
The “public school”, including the “charter school”, is BY FAR, the largest, most expensive, most subversive, and most destructive entitlement program in the country.
The “public school” is better understood as the “government school collective”.
It is silly to imagine that you can fix the public schools, because the very concept itself is collectivist.
Any child that comes out of the government school collective with their moral compass and common sense intact does so in spite of the government school indoctrination, not because of it.
If you want to win the culture war, have lots of children (see my tagline) and homeschool them or form your own school cooperative with your church or synagogue and like-minded friends and relatives.
Nobody loves your children more than you do.
Nobody can teach your children like you can.
Your children would love nothing better than to be taught by you, if you start doing so before they are corrupted by the government school collective.
It is hypocritical for you to submit your children to an authority with whom you fundamentally disagree. And your children will know it.
If you have children, make whatever sacrifices you must to get them out of the public schools.
DO NOT FEED THE BEAST!
Especially not with your own children.
And DO NOT TAKE GOVERNMENT “EDUCATION” MONEY!

I've know kids who've BEGGED their parents to homeschool them and the parents refused.
Then they begged ME to homeschool them.

Always keep in mind the motive for those at the top of the socialist heap: they want a 2-class society.
Class One is themselves, the masters. It’s a very small, and highly restricted class. There are many wanna-be masters (the average leftist student at any American university, the average OWSer, etc) who imagine themselves as being part of that class but actually have close to zero chance of entering that class.
Class Two is everyone else, the slaves.

We separate social activities from academics.
