Sandusky's Son Now Admits Father Molested Him
CNN ^

Matt Sandusky, one of Jerry Sandusky's adopted children, has said that he was molested by the former Penn State defensive coordinator, according to a statement from his lawyers.

The allegation comes as Sandusky is awaiting the verdict in his child rape trial. Matt Sandusky, who has defended his father as he faced child rape charges, said through his attorneys Andrew Shubin and Justine Andronici that he met with prosecutors this week to tell them he was a victim for the first time.

"During the trial, Matt Sandusky contacted us and requested our advice and assistance in arranging a meeting with prosecutors to disclose for the first time in this case that he is a victim of Jerry Sandusky’s abuse," Matt Sandusky's lawyers said in a statement obtained by InSession. "At Matt’s request, we immediately arranged a meeting between him and the prosecutors and investigators."

How horribly sad. All those victims, then you have, arguably, a crazy loon who perpetrated them, but my real question is, WTF was the wife thinking? She might be as bad as her husband, and arguably worse.

I suspected this the moment I found out he had 5 (I think it is) ADOPTED sons. Sick.

Wow. Shame the jury won’t learn about this. Hopefully they don’t need to.

Horrifically sad, but completely unsurprising.

Did anybody think he went out and adopted a boy for noble reasons?

In the million-to-one chance Sandusky beats the charges, he can be charged with the crimes against his son, and any other of the likely dozens of victims who've yet to step forward.

You'd think this dirtbag would at least have the decency to hang himself at this point.

This might explain why Sandusky’s wife flashed that strange look at him during her testimony earlier in the week. Sandusky appeared to look away in shame.

Now try the bastard’s wife and put her in stony lonesome as an accomplice!

I have to assume the prosecutors decided it wasn't necessary.

OTOH, in a remarkable number of cases of sexual and physical child abuse, one or more of the children are targeted and the rest are not mistreated. The targets function as scapegoats for the family.

Very sad stuff.

I'm surprised he actually married a woman.

Bears repeating. I seem to recall a terrible child abuse case in New York -- Lisa Steinberg -- in which the father beat the mother terribly and eventually killed the child; yet the judge sentenced the mother as complicit in the abuse, even though she was virtually a tortured prisoner.

I wonder how many jewels and fur coats Mrs Sandusky sported to her husband's events?

She would never get a stiff sentence. Recall that the woman who kidnapped that girl in the 1980s and helped her husband to rape the kidnap victim and her daughters didn't get nearly the punishment the man got. And SHE procured the child.

Sounds like the allegations surfaced after the prosecution already rested their case.

I can’t find the article online but the Boston Herald reported this a couple days ago.
