Jerry Sandusky, the former Assistant Coach for Penn State, was found guilty today of molesting children. The high-profile began last year when almost a dozen people came out, revealing that Sandusky has molested them, which then resulted in the firing of Penn State Head Coach Joe Paterno.
Sandusky was found guilty of at least some of the almost 50 that were levied against him. The jurors deliberated for two days, starting yesterday.

Sandusky's stepson also stated yesterday that his father had abused him. However, jurors were not aware of this as they were sequestered.
Sandusky faces up to 400 years in prison.
That’s the weird, weird thing about prisons. There are lines that even the most hardened criminals won’t cross. That’s how vile this whole affair is.
Penn State should be raised and made into a park
It appears that for years he intimidated everyone around him.
From the highest level bureaucrat to the lowliest janitor....people were terrified of him.
And I don’t have the foggiest idea why.
“And after four hundred years he won’t look so pretty good.”
He doesn’t look so pretty good now.

My daughter was contemplating the school for my grandson. I said, “Don’t you dare.”
Because what he did isn't sex - it's violence.
And it's violence of the most extreme, sadistic and immoral sort - the rape of boys.
Challenging someone who has already crossed lines he KNOWS he can never be forgiven for, means challenging someone who will literally do ANYTHING to protect himself, because he's got nothing to lose.
So taking him on is taking on a feral, ravening, demonic beast that scared the hell out of people, because someone that openly evil is rare to come by, and personally threatening.
But civilization is DEFINED by whether creatures like him are left unchallenged - or not.
That's why he needs to be destroyed.
I wish the prosecutor had also made a case against his wife. Why, for instance, did they adopt instead of procreate? Did they unconsciously or consciously agree to have an abnormal sex life? Surely she should have known that there were depressive changes in her own adopted children after her POS husband started poking them. I’m disgusted that she is getting a pass.
Times like this when I feel that ban against “cruel and unusual punishment” just didn’t exist.
I thank God for His forgiveness of my sin. I thank God for giving me a new life in Christ Jesus. I thank Him for saving my soul from eternal damnation. I know with full assurance that I will be with Him one day...in paradise, as Jesus told the thief on the cross. I also know that I didn't have to be a Catholic to come to this truth in my life, I didn't need to be a Catholic to experience God's redeeming love and forgiveness for my sin.
God's love and forgivness extends to ALL who call upon His name, who humble themselves, who confess their hopelessness as a sinner, who can acknowledge that there is nothing good enough that we can do to earn His forgiveness and to save ourselves. It is by His grace that we are saved, through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, paying the penalty for our sin. Thank God for His love through Jesus Christ.

You think Gov Corbett (then PA AG) knew this was going on for years and kept quiet? Almost surely seems like he’d have had to have known about it...
just heard on TV 3 months till sentencing. County jail for now.
