I keep hearing people claim that society isn’t crumbling because of these stories, it’s the reporting of bizarre incidents which serve to make it only seem that way, citing Pulitzer winner Barbara Tuchman’s principle that says “The fact of being reported multiplies the apparent extent of any deplorable development by five- to tenfold”.
I say baloney. Country is going crazier than an outhouse mouse.
With what has been reported recently from FL, I’d wonder about “bath salts”. He was a known crack junkie and bath salts are synthetic coke.

In all seriousness, there is a high probability that this perp, being a [former] school principal, is a flaming leftist. IOW, reality was something he long ago abandoned in favor of his fantasy worldview and union perks.
