>>>He will win global approval by his sheer ability to identify with people of all religions and of no religion at all.>>>

That leaves Zero out. Since when does he identify with Christians? As far as we know, he hasn’t even joined a church since he left his old one.

After his Freudian Slip during his interview with George Stephanopoulos, referring to his Muslim faith, the Muslim call to prayers the sweetest sound, admitting that he’d side with Muslims, congratulating the the new Muslim Brotherhood winner of the Egyptian elections...need I say more?

More and more people today, including many churchgoers and professing Christians, view salvation as earthly salvation. A vast majority of people believe that missions should only be about alleviating human suffering in merely physical terms.

These beliefs are part of the culture now - think of them as gay bathhouse values - looking good is king - health food, working out, snappy clothes - money for bucket lists and stuff. It's no wonder the teen bullies took on the grandmother... being a teen bully isn't a problem. Being cruel isn't a problem. Being a thief or drug user isn't a problem - not for liberals. Liberals' concept of morality doesn't go much past worry about sugar in big gulps...

(imho) The stories in the Bible are meant to be ‘applied’ on many levels.

The story of the Antichrist is something that ‘we’ have to deal with daily, and during our lifetime, and for the final fate of mankind.

To clarify, we have a personal ‘antichrist’. We may have one in current national leadership (our lifetime). And there yet may be another slew of them and a final hoedown with the Beast at a time when we have too many who are ‘antichrist’. It could mean the end of man (I doubt it), but it might mean the end of Christianity.

Back when Obama was running for POTUS, I read something extraordinary on another forum.

There was the usual, rather lightweight joshing about the possibility that Obama was the antichrist, and somebody had been making some telling points on his supporters, when one of Obama’s supporters lost his cool, and said something that really took me aback.

He said he wished that Obama *was* the antichrist! Why?
Because he would be *powerful*, and give us (his supporters) what we want, and punish those we hate.

Whoa.

If the leftist-idealist-socialist mindset has gone this far, we (everyone else) have a serious problem on our hands.

That is, if they are willing to support the antichrist itself, out of their greed and burning hate, this means they would support the most horrific tyrants and tyrannies imaginable.

Others, like Dr. Eric R. Pianka and other environmental extremists, have called for the extermination of 9/10ths of the people of the Earth. Pianka was greeted with a standing ovation for this idea before a crowd of hundreds of other “scientists” and “science students”.

Why? “To save the Earth.”

For who? Their master?

He will be charismatic and affable

Well I guess we can rule out Alfred E. Neuman, he definitely is not affable.

Since everyone will love the anti christ, obama can’t be it. But there’s no doubt he sure as hell wanted to be.

“He will be charismatic and affable, and he’ll mesmerize people everywhere. Even those normally at odds with each other will be united in liking and following him. He will win global approval by his sheer ability to identify with people of all religions and of no religion at all. Only after he is able to receive adoration from the masses will he reveal his true character and intentions. “

Where is that found in the Bible?
