In the video below, we see a small number of Christians who gathered holding Christian signs at the 2012 Dearbor, Michigan Arab festival being assaulted by Muslims with bottles, stones, and other objects.

The police do not protect the Christians or take action against the perpetrators; in the end, they reprimand the Christians and instruct them to leave.

Ever since, there has been no coverage of this outrageous event in our media. Nor has CAIR or any other Muslim organization denounced the Muslims who abused the Christians.

As for the article you cite, it's from the Detroit News and WSU Press, two reknown sources dripping with liberal bias. I had not read this article before and surprisingly find it to contain some elements of balance, especially the first few paragraphs and the last several. Yes, I do consider Orvie Hubbard to be a hero of Conservative politics, managing to maintain an island of progress and civility in the midst of a sea of corruption and decline while winning one reelection after another as Mayor of Dearborn. Did you live in the Dearborn area in the 1940s thru the 60s as I did?

Getting back to my original question to you: “Do you regard Islamism to be a racial issue”?

Christians stoned by American Muslims in Dearborn as police watch

disturbing video posted Tuesday by The United West shows a small group of sign-carrying Christians attacked and stoned at the 2012 Arab Festival in Dearborn, Michigan.

Worse yet, the police took no action against the attackers, telling the Christians they were the problem, instead of the mob who engaged in numerous acts of assault and battery.

The 22-minute video shows a number of attacks made against the Christians by adults and children repeatedly hurling profanities in addition to rocks, garbage, water bottles and crates.

According to the United West, Wayne County Deputy Chief Mike Jaafar “summed up his situational awareness of the 2012 Dearborn Arab Festival in the Dearborn Patch by stating, ‘No official arrests were made, and Jaafar said his team was pleased with the overall outcome.’”

True. To most Islamists, freedom to them means the right to attack and beat up Christians, Jews, Hindus, Atheists, Buddhists and other non-believers. Also it means to vote into power their brethern like the Moslem Brotherhood. I think we made a big mistake in the Middle East with the loss of Mubarak, Kadaffy and even Saddam Hussein. They were not nice guys nor would I want to live under them, but at least they were more like the 1950's era Arab nationalists with some ideas on having a secular government system. Minorities like Christans, Jews and so on were protected (unfortunately, the Kurds were attacked) although they did enact "equal opportunity" tyranny to some of their people. I think in the latter, over there to maintain order, freedom is so alien to them, they need a strongman to keep them in line.

I'm very skeptical on Islam itself. I'm not concerned with the more peaceful and mystical versions like the Sufi or Druze, but the radicals themselves are a threat as well as those who stand by and do nothing. Islam needs a reformation. Until then, I will remain skeptical and aloof.

This problem, and many others, was created by the 1965 Immigration Act. It created a strong immigration bias towards uneducated, third-world immigrants from non-secular totalitarian countries, at the expense of educated western immigrants from secular democracies.

In a western liberal democracy, immigration without assimilation simply does not work. Things like English Common Law, basic human liberties, and civil rights are fundamentally at odds with some non-western cultures. It is fine for those from non-western countries to assimilate. But when they fail to assimilate, it creates ghettos.

Look at the U.K. with their "Asian" ghettos, where people practice arranged marriages, multiple marriages, and cousin marriage. Look at France, where police will not enter certain neighborhoods due to "youths". Look at places in the U.S., where second generation immigrants still cannot speak English.

The illegal immigration problem makes it worse, because illegal immigrants often ghettoize themselves into protective, supportive illegal immigrant communities. And illegal immigration is far worse than anyone realizes. It is not just a Mexican thing. There are literal northward flowing "underground railroads" in Mexico smuggling Central and South Americans into the U.S. There are hundreds of thousands of people from foreign countries who entered on a tourist visa and simply stayed.

Don't forget: The 9/11 hijackers were illegal immigrants. They willfully overstayed their visas, they got false documentation through an underground illegal alien support network, and leveraged that to attack us.
