STOP! Take A Deep Breath! We Have Just Been Handed A Golden Opportunity!
Semi-Vanity | Friends and Fiends

Posted on 06/28/2012 2:00:08 PM PDT by MindBender26

Take a deep breath, and think.

In all reality, Obamacare is no more than 15% of the socialist filth and anti-American disasters that the Obama administration has fostered on us.

Horribly weakened military A blame-America foreign policy Gays welcomed in the military A crushing national debt Open borders Everybody possible on Food Stamps Only Blacks are worthy of help by the DOJ Fast and Furious High $ giveaways for every radical group and cause. Eric Holder in general Hillary, et al. Solindra LightSquared Van Jones Cash for Clunkers Dollars for Dishwashers $49,000,000 to give high speed internet to 7 people in Montana, (Yes, 49 MILLION of your dollars for 7 people!) The. Rev Wright Loss of all our friends in the ME. The Iranian bomb Adios Pakistan

and more and more and more

Now, for the first time, we have a issue that we can get the undecideds angry about.

Now, for the first time, we have an issue that will make most Americans scream, "Get that bastard out of my White House!"

Now, most Americans see Obama as a "clear and present danger." No more "everyone else is just as bad." Obamacare will be Romney's #1 issue, but so much else will be addressed as well.

Had we won on Obamacare, we would have lost a voter invigorating issue and given the Dems one.

Now, if we play it right, we can have every American middle class person and undecided running to their window and screaming "I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore."

Getting rid of Obama solves the Obamacare problem, helps bring a conservative House and Senate, and so very much more!

We may have lost a battle... and this battle can win us the war.

In reality, we have been handed a great gift.

Rest, get sleep, plan, scheme, think: "What can I do for the next 135 days to help get rid of Obamacare.... Obamaism.... and Obama ! ?

Today is Dunkirk. Tomorrow is Overlord. November 6th is VE, VJ, VAmerica and VWorld Day.

Smile. We have just begun.... and for me, John has a long mustache!

Name one law...that has ever been explicitly shut down or repealed at the Federal level?

Prohibition was repealed.

Now stop saying retarded things.

I agree with you, I think Roberts unwittingly(maybe) handed the next election to the GOP. If this had been even partially struck down- we’d really be screwed.
As it is, whatever “recovery” team obama was hoping for is long-gone. This bill is gonna have such far-reaching downward pressure on business, we’ll be lucky to recover in 10 years.

I believe you are wrong ,,, One lone republican did vote for Commiecare ,,, from Hawaii I believe ,,, he had a weird last name . I remember the MSM saying the bill passed with bipartisan support .

Now the Holder contempt vote today had 17 Dems on the Fed. Contempt charge and 21 Dems on the civil contempt motion . Don’t look for the MSM to refer to that vote as bipartisan .

Well, then Sir or Ma'am, what is the solution for this November?

Reelect Obama or elect Romney?

That IS the choice before us. What would you have me do?

I was for Sarah Palin, but she refused to run. I voted for Newt Gingrich in my state's primary just three short months ago. Santorum won, whom I also would have supported, but BOTH of them gave up and now all THREE endorse Romney.

So what would you have me do?

Your negativism, and that of similar folks around here, is wearing on me. All you can do is advocate what exactly? That I don't vote? That I vote some 3rd Party? Or, Almighty God forbid, I vote for Obama? Sir or Madam, I love my country too much!!!

Today our dear Miss America, Lady Liberty, got knocked down with a bloody black eye. I am spitting mad, but I KNOW who did this to her. It was the democrats and the driveby media--not the GOP or even the RINOs!

Let's not forget who is the REAL enemy here! It is certainly not other FReepers who will vote for Romney because they have to, but rather the LEFT.

And of course, before you say I support them, let's work together to replace RINOs with conservatives at every chance we get....

BTW, when courts make final determinations, following the ruling is not “giving in.” It is following the law. The opposite is anarchy.

BTW, Romney spent millions of his own dollars to try to elect Republicans to the MASS legislature to overturn the ruling... but of course, you never see that mentioned here.

Prohibition was repealed.

Now stop saying retarded things.

You have one example in 200+ years. And it was not a law, cabinet position or executive department, but an amendment. An amendment whose repeal was bought with the promise of tax revenue and regulation potential, so they maintaned control. Add to that a liberal attack on Government legislating "morality" and you have the perfect storm to repeal one thing - once.

Show me an example where the Federal Government willingly relinquished control over you.

And stop insulting people and debate on the merits of your argument.

Just a thought: It has taken us 70-80 years to get to this level of socialism/Marxism. It could take that long to get us back to freedom, so be patient. What I am looking for is a candidate mature enough to admit that our condition will not be changed overnight. Perhaps our generation has been called upon to begin the journey back to real freedom. Or perhaps it will all go the way of an armed revolution; I don’t know. But it seems to me that today has galvanized a lot of people into finally getting concerned enough to start actively working in the political scene and changing this mess back to real freedom. How many of you are willing to run for office - at any level?

You asked for one example and I gave you one example.

Now you ask for more just to waste my time.

You say crazy, stupid things because you are crazy and stupid.

It really is no more complicated than that.

BTW, when courts make final determinations, following the ruling is not “giving in.

No, the court made it clear it had no power to force gay marriage onto law and legislation had to be passed and signed to make it legal.

All people like you do is make excuses for RINOs like Romney. That is why Republicans keep getting elected and conservatives keep losing while the country moves to the left.

People like you never learn.

I'll go along with you on this regard...

(And it is a sorry state of affairs that I even have to say this)

I voted for Ronald Reagan in my first ever primary in 1976. I hate the RINO Ford so much that when he beat Ronnie for the nomination I voted for Jimmy Carter in November. Carter went on to ruin us, and ignited the Islamic Revolution that STILL imperils the world today. I wish I could take that vote back, but I hated RINOs more than democrats then.

I was all too happy to vote for Ronnie in 1980 and 1984!!! ‘nough said.

I voted for VP Bush in 1988 because he was a Hell of a lot better than Dukakis!!!!

I didn't vote in 1992 because Florida challenged my address on my ballot as I was overseas for my country in Italy. I was pissed and vowed to get that fixed. In any case, up to the point that I cast my ballot, I voted for Bush again, even though he proved a RINO, he was sure a Hell of a lot better than Clinton, and to this day I'm convinced Ross Perot was his agent provocateur.

I tried again to vote in 1996—still overseas at Ramstein AB, Germany—and Florida again challenged my ballot! However, I was to learn the following year that Hamilton county, Florida (just South of Valdosta, GA) had it's democrat Board of Electors replaced with Republicans. Yes, they were throwing out all military absentee ballots until they were thrown out.

Anyway, had I voted, I would have voted for Dole, because even though he was a RINO, he was better than Clinton.

I retired in 1998 and settled in Alabama. I have not missed an election since.

In 2000 I voted for Bush because of Algor. come on—no contest. Still, I do agree that Bush was a statist RINO.

I voted for him again in 2004 as I would never vote for a TRAITOR like John Kerry. I remember his lying testimony before Congress back in 1971 and he should have been shot for treason.

I voted for McCain (ugh) in 2008 because of Obama—the worst democrat in my lifetime, scarier than John Kerry— and because of Sarah Palin.

So...

Here we are, with Romney as our nominee.

Still, my original question stands: If all you say is true, what do we do now?

Well, then Sir or Ma'am, what is the solution for this November? Reelect Obama or elect Romney?

If you don't understand eight years of Romney and another Democrat could be worse than four more years of Obama, you're fooling yourself.

If Romney gets in and sellouts out conservatives, Democrats will sweep back into power in Congress. Romney with a Democratic congress would a disaster, worse than Obama with a Republican congress.

Anthony Kennedy and Samuel Alito likely won't retire with Obama in the White House. One or both probably will under Romney. If he sticks the nation with another Souter or Roberts, the court could move further to the left.

If Romney is elected and is as or a bigger disaster than Bush, are you going to admit you were wrong and stop voting for RINOs? How many times does that have to fail for you learn it doesn't work?
