In America, July 4, 2012. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.--Such has been the patient sufferance of these Colonies; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former Systems of Government. The history of the present King, in his own mind, Barak Obama is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute Tyranny over these States. To prove this, let Facts be submitted to a candid world. He has refused his Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good.
He has forbidden his Governors to pass Laws of immediate and pressing importance, unless suspended in their operation till his Assent should be obtained; and when so suspended, he has utterly neglected to attend to them........

Roberts said, Those decisions are entrusted to our Nations elected leaders, who can be thrown out of office if the people disagree with them. It is not our job to protect the people from the consequences of their political choices.

In other words he is saying that the Supreme Court is no longer into checks and balances, that they will rubber stamp anything the Congress and the Kenyan send them.
He just gave up any reason to even have a Supreme court.

Roberts may have left us an opening ... it is now a supreme court ruling that the “mandate” is a TAX. Tax bills MUST originate in the House. The Affordable Healthcare Act originated in the Senate. Why can’t we have it struck down on those grounds? If the Supremes would give it a do-over it would never get through today’s House.

Essentially, Roberts “not our job” is saying that our country is a democracy, in which it doesn’t matter what the constitution says, if the majority want it, they get it.
If 50% + 1 vote want to kill the other 50% - 1 vote, so be it! It’s not up to the court to “protect people from the consequences of their political decisions”.

I've always thought it easier (and within the law, which is my main aim) to get the liberals to agree that we really need to separate as we did in 1776 with England, except that both sides agree to the split.
Just do it by sitting down at a table and working out who gets what and divide the country. Better yet is to get them to think it's their idea.

Secession is a good idea.
Either shooting, or secession.
Trouble is, the thieves and thugs understand that with secession, they’d lose their gravy. And so their would be shooting anyway.
If your neighbor comes into your house demanding your wealth, property, and labor, you have the natural right to shoot him, yes?
If your neighbor votes in a politician who sends the arm of government into your house demanding your wealth, property, and labor, do you still have the natural right to shoot your neighbor?

Please re-post some of your great comments here to motivate others to stop whining and get to work in a positive direction....

Let's agree to disagree on Roberts action. Put it behind us and get to work!
Contact, neighbors, friends, family make sure they registered to vote. Give them a reason to vote for your candidate.
Work with tea-party groups, get the best people on the ballot. Support the most conservative in your district. If your districts are safe help out others in your state.

We, the People, have been given a mandate. It is to send to DC people who uphold the constitution and NOT play Alinsky type of games with word...like TAX/Penalty...or manipulate the congress by using a friendlier Senate to initiate a bill that was unsuccessful in the House...again an Alinsky move.

I don’t like to cut/paste, and it’s only the past few days or so, but if you insist, here’s a sample:
Moving — to a different state of submission?
A true option is to quit paying income tax, which you can do without legal repercussions by quitting the behavior of making income. That is, if you think the America you love is worth a sacrifice of some degree of comfort, affluence, and lifestyle.
If enough people stopped paying, the government would collapse in a matter of weeks or even days. If people organized and did it, with specific demands, there would not even be time for discussion. They could demand anything — any law, any resignations, any repeal — and get it, just by taking the pursestring reins in hand.
Moving will get you nowhere different.
Voting will get you nowhere different.

Organize for sound and leverage, then shrug: quit making income and live like the Founders did — ruggedly for the sake of liberty.
These are the options: Shoot, Shrug, or Shut Up. The middle one is by far the fastest, cleanest, most effective method.

How many people will you register to vote on July 4th? Probably none. I am enrolled as Deputy Registrar and have been for over a dozen years. I generally start in September when I make the first canvass of my precinct. I don't carry my registgration packet with me, but do enquire as to registation status when pushing my candidate/s. If they express a positive feeling about my pitch, I'll go back later and register them. If they're RATs I won't.
I don't pass out motor-voter registration cards and I never solicit registations in malls or supermarket parking lots .. too many flakes out there.

Caution : profanity. The man is a realist. The necessary action that will exact justice in this country lies in the original intent and purpose of the Second Amendment. If someone ever decides to exercise that right, the focus and imposition should be on those of power at cause.
