What? The former Speaker is saying ObamaCare is a penalty, not a tax, that is enforced by the tax code...or something.

Is this what Pelosi meant by "passing the bill to see what's in it?" The Supreme Court saw what was in ObamaCare, ruled it a tax, and she, along with top White House officials, are saying it's a tax. It is very clear the Democrats have their talking points together.
And yet, DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz is accusing Republicans of being deceptive about the "Affordable Care Act."
"When it came to championing the health care legislation, President Obama made sure that al though everybody -- the vast majority of Americans have health insurance coverage, we want to make sure that if you're a free rider, if you roll the dice and get sick and use the emergency room as your primary access point for health care. Those health care costs are going to get shifted to all of us. And if you choose not to carry health insurance, this legislation says you're going to pay a small penalty so that we don't have to pay for you rolling the dice," DNC chair and Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.) said on MSNBC today."That's what the health care reform law says and the Republicans are engaging in deception if they say anything else," she said.
Pelosi also claimed during the interview that repeal of ObamaTax is unrealistic.
Minority leader Nancy Pelosi says House Democrats are happy to debate dismantling Obamacare, but repeal is unrealistic.Pelosi says the act puts people "in charge of how they receive coverage and health care."
She said Republicans "will ask for repeal, repeal of all the things ... that help children, help young adults, help seniors, help men or women who may have prostate cancer, breast cancer, whatever it is, any precondition. And everybody will have lower rates, better quality care and better access."
"So that's what they want to repeal," she said. "we're happy to have that debate."
Clearly all the tax talk has the liberal left scrambling in a corner trying to figure out what to do. Republicans need to keep hammering on this everyday until Nov 6. It will drive the libs insane, if they aren’t already there.
If it is not a tax, why is the IRS enforcing it?
When people think of the IRS, what first comes to mind? Taxes.
Everyone, absolutely everyone, who is told the IRS will make them buy health insurance is conditioned to view the IRS as a tax enforcer. Everyone hates the IRS.
This is not a winnable PR war for the democrats. They will never convince people that this health care bill is a gift from heaven when the mafia goons of the IRS are going to break kneecaps if you do not buy the insurance.
This is a lost cause for the democrats. They will never convince anyone that the IRS is there to better their health. The IRS is a gruesome, unfair, sadistic organization and 100% of the working population knows it.
This PR game is a lost cause before it starts. The democrats are so stupid to think we do not know what is happening when they are sending in the IRS to terrorize the cizenry into compliance. Whether democrat, independent or republican a citizen will know this is a bad deal because that same citizen has had dealings with the IRS and all have been bad. Basically, when dealing with the IRS the proposition is that it wins and the citizen loses regardless of the citizen’s proof.
Give me a break. This health care bill is DOA with the American people. They already hate this bill 60% against and 40% for. Add the IRS to this equation and we are going to swear in president Romney and kill the bill with a simple majority vote in the Senate. No way this has a chance of a snow falke in hell.

Pay "a small penalty"? It took 2,700+ pages to accomplish that?
She smiles sweetly at us while knowingly and deliberately lying, to which she then adds insult to injury, by blaming her political opponents for doing the very thing she is doing, right now.

Correct me if I’m wrong...but I don’t think that the IRS has been authorized by Congress yet to expand out to have enough employees to run the operation. I haven’t heard of any method which they could avoid Congress and just hire employees anyway....so this might prove to be interesting in 2013 as they try to talk Congress into more funding for the IRS. I don’t think it’ll happen.
