Conservatives to Mitt: Quit Now If You Won't Fight Obamatax!
Breitbart ^ | 7/2/12 | Joel B. Pollak

Posted on 07/02/2012 10:47:53 AM PDT by Nachum

The Obama campaign has seized on remarks made by Romney adviser Eric "Etch-A-Sketch" Fehrnstrom this morning on MSNBC, to the effect that the individual mandate in Obamacare (and Romneycare) is not a tax. Fehrnstrom allowed Chuck Todd to push him off message--and re-ignited the fears that conservatives have long had about Romney's will and ability to fight. In response, conservatives--who had just coalesced around opposition to what many now call "Obamatax": Mitt, start fighting, or give up and let someone else do it.

Fehrnstrom's point--in defense of Romneycare--was that the Supreme Court was wrong to uphold Obamacare under the taxing power. The individual mandate was never intended to be a tax, Congress never called it a tax, and it wasn't a tax in Massachusetts, either. Fine--but now that Obama's lawyers went to court and called it a tax, and Chief Justice John Roberts called it a tax (and spare us the non-distinction between "tax" and the "taxing power") Obamacare is, undeniably, a massive tax on the middle class. Obama lied. It's that simple.

The GOP primary is over, and this is not a mistake that Fehrnstrom can merely shake away. It's going to be used--and already is being used--by the Obama campaign to save itself from the tax argument, and to label Romney as a liar (when that label belongs squarely on Obama, who campaigned against Hillary Clinton's individual mandate in 2008). Perhaps this is why Rupert Murdoch has been calling openly for Romney to "drop...old friends from [his] team and hire...some real pros," as he did on Twitter yesterday.

“Who do you prefer it be?”

You ABO apologists really have to get over the fact that the system allows for more thn two options.

You have a choice. You can willingly abandon what you claim you believe in and vote Romney or vote for ANY conservative. If you choose to abandon what you believe in, then just vote for Obama and be done with it.

All those founding father quotes mean anything to you or were they just words? Considering many of them died for their beliefs, it’s a slap in their faces to so casually abandon everything they fought and “died” for.

Your choice.

He should.

But he won’t.

Because that would require principles.

Of which he has none.

Unfortunately either Romney or Obama will be the next president of the USA. Who do you prefer? A two word answer will suffice.

I make a living on coming up with ways to make “impossible” things happen. Its because losers like you are the rule and not the exception that we have so much damn failure out there. I mean WTF? you admit you have no ideas and your resigned to failure.. Fine, shut up and get out of the way of people who DO have ideas, maybe even support them...

Those delegates are still “republicans” and are still (theoretically) anti-socialized healthcare. They are also human with human emotions.

What the SC pulled last week can be used to undermine their “desire” to be “herded” by romney. This turns EVERYTHING on its head and raises the tension significantly. These delegates, CAN be influenced to turn against Mr. Romney care. Just takes a few folks dedicated enough to beating socialism, (and an inside track) to make it happen.

Mitt RomneyCARE (D, Shapeshifter): "I'm not running as the Republican view or a continuation of Republican values.
That's not what brings me to the race.

(Backstabber Romney Video, accessed 9/19/07)

"We don't intend to turn the Republican Party
over to the traitors in the battle just ended.
We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged

Turning the Party over to the so-called moderates
wouldn’t make any sense at all.""

Romney (Carpetbagger shapeshifter, D, RINO): ”I'm very clear I think, to the people across the Commonwealth

It must represent certain fundamental beliefs

Yeah, you did such a bang-up job during the primaries, I can't wait to see the results you get dislodging Mitt in Tampa.

Its because losers like you are the rule and not the exception that we have so much damn failure out there

Loser? Hardly. I just know a fools errand when I see one.

I was talking about Santorum. Remember him? He was the last man standing with all the reporters writing article after article on whether he’s stick it out? All those people sending hom donation after donation even before their candidates dropped out - To keep Mitt at bay? There were hundreds of threads here You need to seek help over that unhealthy Palin fixation of yours.

And BTW, I supported Cain and then hesitantly, Newt after Palin announced she wouldn’t run. I didn’t ‘trash’ either. Perry and Bachmann I held to their record/statements.

If you MUST lie, at least check my post history first. This is what? the 4th time you’ve been caught with your clue missing?

Sarah Palin. Virgil Goode. Norm Lenhart. I don’t care which of the two Socialist/Marxists gets picked. Not my problem. I’ll vote for a conservative. You can join me or participate in the demise of America voting for one of the idiots or the other. Your choice.

He said the day the court decision he would repeal it.

He said he wants to repeal and replace it. Funny how he won't say what he intends to replace it with. 'cause he's a fag.

Odd that you mentioned others but not him.

You need to seek help over that unhealthy Palin fixation of yours.

Yeah, I'll do that right away. Soon as she makes Todd a sandwich.

If you MUST lie, at least check my post history first.

I've seen enough of it just by random chance, thanks.
If you want to play that card you might check mine for Romney support.

But hey.. you wouldn't want to deal in anything so gritty as reality, would you?

Honestly, I didn’t pay all that much attention to the primaries. I was OK with any of the candidates except for romeny.

I guess my bad, was assuming that there was no way in hell the Romney was ever going to be nominated. I overestimated the intelligence of the average primary voter. Yeah... My bad...

Oh yeah... I also thought the the SC would actually find that Obama/Romny care would be unconstitutional... Again... My bad...

But Im not going to get hung up on those things, making a mistake, or even a series of mistakes is normal for humans. Now we have to do EVERYTHING POSSIBLE to correct those mistakes while its still possible. Thats the difference between success and failure, overcoming mistakes or drowning in them...

Gunner, I didn’t mention him with the others, to set up the paragraph YOU took to be about Palin, who you ‘implied’ was a prostitute a while back...an unhealthy fixation.

I’m sorry that your reading comprehension, low opinion of women and political judgement are all so weak, but I’ll bet if you stopped making things up and studied the world around you, things would be better.

I’ll just direct people to our respective post histories for further study. You are what you are Gunner. And I’m really tired of wasting my time dealing with your stupidity.
