Obama's Problem Obeying the Law
The American Thinker ^ | 7-6-12 | William Sullivan

There is ample evidence that Barack Obama, and people under his supervision, committed at least one felony -- specifically, illegal gambling across state lines -- to fund his 2008 election campaign. The Obama Campaign's Numbers Racket

The general definition of a lottery is an activity that includes (1) mandatory payment of consideration -- i.e., money -- as a condition of participation, (2) a prize -- i.e., anything of value, such as an expenses-paid trip, and (3) an element of chance in the selection of the prize winners. It is against federal law to conduct a lottery across state lines, and it is illegal in almost every state to conduct an unauthorized or unlicensed lottery or other gambling activity. This is true even in states like Nevada that are famous for their (licensed) gambling establishments.

The Obama campaign ran at least two such lotteries in 2007 and 2008 before changing them to allow entry without a contribution. The change was the direct result of complaints from a law enforcement agency. There is still a YouTube video of Mr. Obama himself making a pitch for one of these lotteries, and here is an e-mail from the Obama campaign with the relevant parts of the full headers. IP address 70.42.50.185 still traces to Blue State Digital, which was indeed the service provider for the Obama campaign. (This does not mean that Blue State Digital was involved in any way with the alleged illegal actions of the Obama campaign; it is, however, evidence that the following e-mail came from the Obama campaign and was not circulated by a malicious third party.) ~snip~ We have also bolded evidence that the lottery was dishonest, and that it cheated many of those who entered.

Its not an issue of the jug-eared moron obeying the law, it more a matter of those charged with upholding the law ENFORCING it.

So what, if none of our “leaders” does anything about it? So what?

Obama’s worldview is the culmination of the “progressive” assumption of the condition of humankind.

He, and his minions, believe that he is so elite that his judgement can and should supercede any prior rules, laws, traditions, morals, etc - including anything that he himself said at an earlier date.

This is the liberal/progressive assumption - that those who are enlightened enough can and should make ad hoc decisions and should have the power to force those decisions on everyone else.

How about recess appointments and nobody in the Senate taking it to Court. The GOP doesn’t have the guts to take him on. Hopefully Fast and Furious will be different wirh Issa and Grasley taking the lead.

Full disclosure: The Romney campaign (which I support) is doing much the same thing. If you give $5 you are in a drawing to have simple (probably brief) lunch with Gov. and Mrs. Romney. It is a way of having a few “winners” act as representatives of everyone who gave. Could this also run afoul of gambling laws?

If I were in such a pool of donors and won (thereby becoming a donor-diner), I would be glad to pay for my own hamburger, if that would satisfy the legal requirements.

He is also an adherent of Critical Race Theory (Derrick Bell, Harvard) which states that western civilization was designed by and for the white man only (and inherent racist)...and doesn't apply to him.

His acts of disobedience of the law are revolutionary acts according to CRT.

I think you need to read the fine print. Where Obama stepped over the line was not allowing any way to enter without sending a donation.

Fast and Furious will show who the felons are but it’s going to take time.
They are blocking every path but it won’t work.

This strikes me as small potatoes when compared to the full panoply of lawbreaking by this administration. I’d probably rank this at #99 out of the top 100 violations.

What in the world does it matter? The Republicans who are supposed to oppose Obama, actually admire him and wish they could be like him. I think the only reason Congressional Republicans and Inside the Beltway Conservatives “oppose” Obama, is that they see the insider polls that show B. Hussein to be the most despised President in human history and they know that if they show their true feelings they could get defeated.

Betting on America

Yeah, I'll bet Hussein has watched The Sting. He fancies himself as Henry Gondorff, but he's really Doyle Lonnegan.
